Video: Guest Artist Sandy Allnock… Featuring Copic Markers + GIVEAWAY

Hi! While on a long vacation, I decided to ask my incredibly talented friend – Sandy Allnock – to create a video for me to share. In the video, I explain more. Sandy is a gem (more on her below) and I am honored to have her here. I hope you will all welcome her with open arms.

—————–

Hello! I’m Sandy Allnock, aka friend-of-Jennifer, too… and I have a little bit of fun to share with you while Jennifer’s away on vacation. I’m so excited she invited me to visit!

I created a super short video showing how to create a Copic airbrushed background, apply texture using a stencil, and then stamp sweet “hello sunshine” images – perfect for a summery card!

[Click HERE to watch on YouTube in HD.]

I layered my airbrushed panel on white, then added it to a black card base with dimensional adhesive. Voilá, a cheerful, elegant card!

And in case you missed the link to my Copic Airbrush Buying Guide video, click HERE. Leave any questions in the comment section and I’ll pop in to answer them! Hope Jennifer’s off having a lovely time!

It’s Jennifer again. I have a few more things to share, but first wanted to link to a Copic Airbrush video I did awhile ago HERE.

ABOUT SANDY ALLNOCK

Of all the people I have met through cardmaking, Sandy is one that I admire most. She is unbelievably amazing with Copics and I find her videos mesmerizing. (HERE and HERE are video proof.) She also has the biggest heart, as proven by her being the creator and heart of Operation Write Home. She also has a great sense of humor (which you can see in her glitter video). To see more from Sandy, you can subscribe to her YouTube channel and follow her blog. I promise she will inspire you and lift your spirits all at once.

ABOUT GUEST ARTISTS

For a long time now, I have wanted to have guest artists with videos on my blog. Not just anyone… but artists who I find do very inspiring videos. I have several guests lined up for this summer, but then will cut back to one a month or so. I promise this will not take away from the content I try to offer, but rather will enhance it. I will also follow each guest video with one that I have created, inspired by theirs. I am hoping that by sharing these great artists, you may discover inspiring talent you had not seen yet. After all, it’s all about sharing.

  4. That was fab! Question: could you use the colourless blender with the airbrush? I’m thinking yes but then the result would be smoother than with the blending tool?
