VIDEO: Card Boxes

Hello! The other day I showed a couple small cards I made and promised to show how to make a box to hold them. So today’s video shows how to create two different size card boxes with the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

(Check the thumbnails at the end of this post for supplies used.)

These card boxes are so fast and easy to make! I used the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board… which is intended for creating envelopes of any size. However, I used it to make boxes! The video shows how to make a box for A2 cards (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and envelopes and also for 4-bar cards (3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″) and envelopes.

(By the way – as always – I wasn’t asked to promote this product. I just bought it, used it and liked it!)

  1. Thank you for the lesson on how to create an envelope box for the note cards, very informative. Thank you so much for sharing. You are so creative.

  2. Jennifer,

Thanks so much for your easy to follow videos. I needed a thinner box envelope that was only 3/8″ thick for A2 cards. I started with your instructions and figured out the math. The final solution is start with a piece of paper that is 8.5″ x 8.5″. The first punch and score line is at 4.5″ and the second punch and score line is at 5″. Works great!

    Thanks again.

  3. Hi Jennifer,
I love how you used the Envelope punch board to make box envelopes. I need to make an A5 box envelope can you tell me what size paper I would start with?
I also have the the 1-2-3 Punch board but the measurements are incorrect I believe because the flaps don’t match up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
