Welcome to the My Favorite Crafty Things 2013. I am so excited!

Over the next ten days, I will be sharing my favorite crafty products of 2013. Each day will have a different topic with videos. I have lots to share, including giveaways and even store discounts:

So let’s get started! Today I am focusing on stamps.

Warning: This video is pretty long. 🙂 You can instead just check out the stamps below.

SENTIMENT STAMPS

The most important element on any card is the sentiment. Therefore a good collection of greeting stamps is helpful. Here are my favorites:

Background stamps are so very versatile. Check out these great choices:

BUILDING STAMPS

This year, companies have started developing more and more stamps that build on each other. By stamping images together and/or layered, you can easily get results that look dimensional and colorful. I love these:

  1. WPlus9 Quilt Prints would be my first choice as it reminds me of my Grandmother who made for each of her grandchildren(me being one, of course) a Wedding Ring quilt( totally hand patched & quilted) for our wedding present>>still cherished after 40 years.
I don’t think I could go wrong with any of your stamp choices, but to be honest, the WPlus 9 Quilt Prints is my favorite!!!!
PS I have enjoyed all of your videos. They are very inspiring.

  2. Can’t pick a fave stamp, so I’ll pick my fave style…CHRISTMAS!! I’m pretty much a sucker for most any Christmas stamps!

  3. All words stamps are my favorites, Words are very powerful. And I wish I can have them all!
thanks for the chance to win

  4. So many great stamps and suggestions! It is so hard to pick one favorite stamp set, but if I had to choose with the holidays coming up, it would be Waltzingmouse’s nutcracker stamp set. Such a cool set!

  5. oh lord-I have to pick one? I love the idea of background stamps-so many things that can be done with them and make a simple background to a quick card.

  6. I too use word stamps a lot – like to emboss words on the front of my cards, but my favorites are a script and a music background !

  7. Oh, I couldn’t pick one favorite. Hero Arts, Impression Obsession’s background stamps, InkyAntics and Northwoods are some of my favorites. Of course I love Simon Says Stamps, Fawn Lawn, Paper Smoochies, and My favorite things too.

  8. Since I cannot pare down a favorite individual stamp, I will identify the most used by theme. Birthday stamps are my most used. Unfortunately, closely followed by thinking of you, get well and sympathy.

  9. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I do love my background stamp from Stampin Up called En Francias. I use that one all the time!

  10. That was a lot of favourites but I must say I’m glad I watched it to the end as there was an alphabet set that really caught my eye. Watching your series out of sequence and loving the videos.

  11. Thanks for the give aways. It is really nice of you to give stuff away. I really like all the things that you make and all the videos u do. Thanks so much for continuing to make us videos and other stuff. I really appreciate you showing us your favorite things so that we can get the stuff u like and don’t get the things u don’t like. Thanks for everything.

  12. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite stamp. But my favorite style/theme is anything with a cat on it! Although the new stamp/die combos are also real favorites.

  13. Favorite? I have a huge collection of Lili of the Valley stamps… I htink if there was a fire and I had to just grab, it would be the bin of those, the Paper Smooches and my new Simon Says Stamps sets. Oooh, and my Penny Blacks – I don’t have many but they are so cute! And um… ok, did you say pick ONE favorite? LOL

I waited until Day 10 and I worked my way backwards to leave comments, but I want to make sure that I say THANK YOU for so much crafty goodness. I love looking forward to seeing what will pop up next on your blog. =) And wondering whether Stella will ever get tired of winking so much! 😉 LOL Happy Thanksgiving!!

  14. Wplus9 Woodland Wreaths. Absolutely love this set. Gorgeous! I have a lot of stamps and love almost all of them, but if name one – this would be Wplus9 wreaths.
Thank you so much for this great video! How much work you put in it! I got several stamps set i really need after watching your video.

  15. I love Christmas and Halloween stamps. I know it is impossible to use more than a few seasonal stamps each year, but they are all so gorgeous and beg to come live with me. 🙂 Also hearts, stars, kitties, fairies, butterflies, flowers, and critters – I love them all. It would be cruel to choose just one favorite stamp; I’m afraid the others would be sad.

Thank you Jennifer for inspiring me. And thanks to Avery Elle, Clearly Besotted, Hero Arts Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, My Favorite Things, Paper Smooches, Simon Says Stamp and WPlus9 for the chance to win some awesome stamp sets.

  16. There are so many wonderful stamps out there that I am not sure I could pick one! My preference are for more “arty” stamps, instead of “cute.” I also like to use a good, graphic background stamp to set the tone for a card.

  17. I love all my stamps – of course! If I had to pick I’d say my snowflake stamps. Thanks for all the suggestions You given us.

  18. Hey! I want to buy the stitched sentiments set by the craft meow any idea where I can purchase it from? I love the 1st and 2nd set but can’t find em anywhere 🙁

  19. I definitely turn to my PTI stamps most frequently. And I love any stamps that come with matching dies. But I think there is a tie for my top two favorites; PTI Rosie Posie and Delightful Dahlia. I love how they are both layering sets. You can create beautiful multi-colored flowers without coloring! Out of the stamps you shared in this post? I think I like the ME Winter Wonderland the best. Those little dear are too cute!!!!

  20. I love, love your videos! I have only been stamping for about a year and I am ready to get my craft room stock and organized. Your suggestions have made such a difference. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
