From All of Us + Giveaway
I send a lot of cards. A lot. And sometimes I sign these cards as “from the family” – not just from me. So I have been looking for stamps that say “from us” or “we love you” or whatever. And finally! After putting a small bug in the talented Kristina’s ear, we now have one that fits the bill – the Simon Says Stamp From Us stamp set.
This card came together pretty quickly. I first stamped the word bubbles with Hero Arts Tide Pool, Soft Pool and Cornflower Inks. I then stamped the birthday message with Charcoal Ink, along with the various stars to match the bubbles.
Once the inks were good and dry, I wiped over the bubbles with my EK Success Powder Tool to prevent an embossing mess. I then stamped the greetings on the bubbles with Versmark Ink and white heat embossed.
I stamped a Hero Arts notecard with the same stars and Tide Pool Ink. A great way to create a background. I also added a strip of my favorite Steel Grey cardstock for a defined edge…
And I couldn’t stop there. (I am the master of not knowing when to stop!) I added some Wink of Stella shine to the bubbles, stars and strip. It was exactly what this bad boy needed!
And since doing the Insider class, I have been unable to leave the inside of my card naked. This class was a complete game-changer for me. So I added a little something to the inside, too…
