Kelly Purkey STAMPtember® Blog Hop

Today I am part of a blog hop for Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember® event… and we are focusing on the fabulous new products they have from Kelly Purkey!

Well, I liked one of Kelly’s new stamp sets so much that I went overboard and did FIVE cards. Check out my video that shows how to multi-ink greetings and also how to create your own enamel dots…

For these cards, I used the new Kelly Purkey I Like You stamp set. This one has quickly moved to my “all-time favorite stamps” list.

I really enjoy playful greetings and they are hard to find. This set knocks it outta the park! I used a variety of the fabulous Memento Luxe Inks for the fun color combo.

I created the star border with the new Howdy Partner set. And the notebook die? That is the Paper Smooches Notebook die

Next up is a great greeting from the same I Like You set. I liked the bit about “magic” on it, so I decided to team it up with the Paper Smooches Bam Bubble die.

I also created my own enamel dots using the Viva Paper Pens. Boy does this stuff make great accents!

For card #3, I again used the I Like You set and Luxe Inks. I also used the SSS Horizontal Bubble die and Hero Arts Vertical Arrows background.

One of the things I like about Luxe Inks is that they are pigment inks, so they are slow to dry. This gives you the option of adding clear embossing powder to heat emboss for a textured tone-on-tone background…

This next one uses the fun Paper Smooches Free Spirits and Drink Glasses dies. It works perfectly with this I Like You greeting

Gotta love a DIY embellishment. (I created a glass like this a few days ago – head HERE for more information.)

This last card is super simple. But that greeting? It is just so awesome that I had to let it shine. (The fun banner die cut is from the Sketchy Banner Dies.)

Whew! So there you have it – five cards using the Kelly Purkey I Like You stamp set. Can you tell I love it? 🙂 All the supplies are in the thumbnails at the end of this post.

You can find all of the new Kelly Purkey products HERE. There are some good ones… here is a peek…

Next, be sure to head over to my bestie Kathy Racoosin’s blog HERE. Her projects are incredible! (If you want to start at the beginning of the hop, go HERE.)

Enjoy!
