Video: Die Storage + Giveaway

Hello!

After sharing my clear and cling stamp storage system (HERE), I have been getting lots of requests to share my wafer thin die storage system. This has been working so very well for me (and even works with embossing folders).

I really love these pockets! So handy. You can store more than one in a pocket if you want.

Here are links for the products featured:

I also have a couple other die storage ideas…

The first is to adhere thin magnetic sheets to the inside of cabinet doors. This one would be good if you only have a few dies or have some frequently used dies you want easy access to. (I plan to add this inside my cabinet doors for the few I use the most.) I first showed this awhile back and still like it a lot. You can find magnetic sheets for this HERE and HERE. (You could also use these sheets in a binder system.) Here is this idea shown in my old craft room…

Another option for you is the ArtBin Magnetic Die Storage Case. I have checked this system out and it works very well. Something worth considering, too!

Let me know if you have questions or storage ideas to share!

  1. bonjour,

  2. i got some fridge binz for my clear stamps – love it. Thanks for pointing we can use them for the dies too. Now for some easy storage ideas for my Tim Holtz dies particularly the movers and shapers. Thanks for sharing and the op to win.
ps I am going to Ikea’s website to check out the Expedite (sp?) system love the drawers you showed in the video

  3. Thanks for sharing your tips for organizing your dies, I love this idea, I started with just a couple dies, but now have a “few” more…and I have been serching for a storage solution for them that makes it easier to find what I am looking for, this is awesome!! I am off to search for something similar to those bins you used. Thanks and have a great long weekend.

  4. I have stated to store my dies in a storage case, but I’m not entirely happy with it. Besides, my collection of wafer thin dies has grown steadily over the past year. Your solution looks wonderful. My only problem would be the storage containers. I’m afraid they will be hard to find here in Greece, and ordering them from Amazon in the UK is rather expensive. Anyway, thanks for sharing your ideas and thanks for the chance to win some storage pockets.

  5. What a great organizing system! I would love to win some of the storage pockets. Thanks for the chance to win!

  6. Thanks for sharing your ideas Jennifer. I’ve been working on organizing my clear stamps with your system and it is great! On to the dies next.

  7. Great ideas… and you’re always looking out for us! I have ordered some of the Office Depot pockets and will pick up tomorrow. They should give you some commission you give them a lot of business. Love ya!

  8. I really love your storage solution. I appreciate the uniformity and versatility of it. I’m praying for something to happen with me and my family soon, and if that goes through I’d finally be able to invest in some new storage solutions to organize many of my supplies properly, the way I’ve really always wanted, and finally revamp my craft area. I’m so hoping my prayers are answered because after seeing your videos, I think I really want to give this storage system a try, for my dies, embossing folders, and acrylic/cling stamps …. it just might be the storage solution to keep for ever! It seems so functional, plus it does not take a lot of space. Two definite pluses. I’ve really been enjoying seeing the different things you’ve been able to do to make your craft room just like you wanted with the remodel. I’ve been anticipating you sharing the finished room. I’m sure I’ll fall in love with it when I get to see it all done. Thanks for sharing in such detail. I appreciate it, and I’m sure many others do as well.

  9. Those die pockets look awesome! I love your uniform systems and thanks so much for sharing them with us! Great video. Love your inlay cards, great ideas!! Thanks for sharing.

  20. I really enjoy your storage videos. I have been using some cases and magnetic sheets similar to the ones from Crafter Companion Co. However, I haven’t figured out a good filing system for this storage. You have it down to a science and I truly appreciate your tips. Thanks so much! Diane Wien
