Video: Die Storage + Giveaway

Hello!

After sharing my clear and cling stamp storage system (HERE), I have been getting lots of requests to share my wafer thin die storage system. This has been working so very well for me (and even works with embossing folders).

I really love these pockets! So handy. You can store more than one in a pocket if you want.

Here are links for the products featured:

I also have a couple other die storage ideas…

The first is to adhere thin magnetic sheets to the inside of cabinet doors. This one would be good if you only have a few dies or have some frequently used dies you want easy access to. (I plan to add this inside my cabinet doors for the few I use the most.) I first showed this awhile back and still like it a lot. You can find magnetic sheets for this HERE and HERE. (You could also use these sheets in a binder system.) Here is this idea shown in my old craft room…

Another option for you is the ArtBin Magnetic Die Storage Case. I have checked this system out and it works very well. Something worth considering, too!

Let me know if you have questions or storage ideas to share!

  1. Thank you so much for posting. I am currently working on tranferring all of my supplies to this new system. My stamps are finished, my dies are still in progress! Takes a little time, but will be soooo worth it!

  2. I’ve been storing my dies in the memorex pockets for a few months now. I love it! It is so much easier to find what I’m looking for. I use printable magnet sheets I buy at Staples. I cut them down to fit in the pockets and get at least 16 smaller sheets for less than $10.

  3. Love the pockets and storage container idea! I tried the magnetic sheets in the inside of my cabinets and so far that works really well, but I am running out of space.
    Thanks for sharing!

  4. I love this storage system. I purchased the Avery Elle Clear Stamp pockets from SSS and absolutely LOVE them! Thank you for sharing this with us.

  5. Thanks for sharing–I really love your storage system. You have helped and inspired me with my stamp storage. I use a combination of your old binder system and your newer system for stamp storage. For dies, I purchased magnetic sheets from Lowes (magnetic vent covers) which are very inexpensive. I cut them in half and place them in 8×8 scrapbook albums. This is working very well for me.

  6. Love this system for everything. I’ve been redoing my craft area, so when that’s put back together again, I’m going to start on the new storage systems, especially for the dies and stamps. I’m really loving what I call ‘”the flip system” to be able to see and get to your supplies quickly. I’d love to win some pockets to get me started! Thanks for sharing all of your organization ideas…and I can’t wait to see you completed studio.

  7. Thanks for the chance to win. I love the idea of the binz and the pockets. Time to revamp my storage. I have those bins in my pantry may just have to borrow them.

  8. Thanks to your informative videos, I’m already using the Avery Elle pockets for my stamp sets. I’d love to give the Simon Says Stamp pockets a try for storing my dies.

  9. I love this storage system.
I currently store my dies in a binder in photo pockets, but it’s getting way too heavy and hard to use. Have been thinking for a long time that I should do something like this.

  10. Oh Jennifer – This is EXACTLY what I am looking for! My husband FINALLY relented, after years of me saying I want a craft room, and we just converted our spare bedroom into MY STUDIO and I am scurrying around to get it all squared away and organized 🙂 I love your videos and really enjoy your calming, patient and humble approach 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win. Have a magical day!

  11. I love your amazing organization and really need to work harder on mine. I’m in the middle of a major purge where I am donating a ton of supplies to a local Dachshund Rescue, for a huge Fundraising Yard Sale. Once all this is gone, I’m giong to have lots more room for storage and want to work on my dies next!!!

I also LOVE yoru wonderful new cabinets and how your designed them specifically for certain uses…(i.e.) the Vagabond Cabinet…Genius!! I also love it when I can close draws and have some thing out of sight…it gives that extra clean feel. Of course, my room is truly a former bedroom and we do not have space for a studio, so it is, what is is and for re-sale, it needs to able to go back to a bedroom !!

I would LOVE to win some pockets…I never do win, but I’ll never give up on trying!! Thank YOU!!

  12. Love those pockets. I’ve been looking for something to keep my die cuts in and these are perfect. Thanks for a great solution! Sandy

  13. I am in the process of organizing my stamps and dies. Your system looks great! Thanks for the chance to win the pockets!

  14. Great solution! I am using your magnetic craftroom door storage system now for some commonly used dies, but have lots that I need to get organized for easier access. Love this idea!

  15. I keep my dies in a box and always have to go through the whole box to find what I want. Your pocket system looks better than my system!! Thanks for the chance to win!!!

  16. Your systems are working perfectly for me – thanks s much for sharing them! Do you have a special way to store yout small stamps, they get lost in the pockets.

  17. Jennifer, thanks for sharing this great pocket system. I think it would work well for me and—best of all—I could incorporate this with the system I’m using now.

  18. Your storage ideas video is very inspiring, Jennifer! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your terrific ideas with your online fans. I plan to reorganize my dies to be just like yours!
