Video: Stamp Window Card (+ MFT New Product Tour)
I am back with more of my guest role with My Favorite Things… and today is the day the new products are available HERE. I have two cards for you. The first has a video showing how to create a stamp window card.
One of the best things about having stamps and dies that match is that you can do fun techniques such as this stamp window card. These Tropical Sensation flowers are lovely… and make me want to hop on a plane to Hawaii.
I get a lot of questions about the My Favorite Things Dye Inks. I like them… especially the brighter/darker colors. Here I used Blu Raspberry, Orange Fizz, Sour Apple and Razzleberry.
Next I used a few new products that are only available over on the My Favorite Things site as part of their 7th birthday celebration – the Party Balloons Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday Die-namics. These balloons are fun – big and bold. I will be using this set a lot to create cards for Colin’s friends.
I used a pen to draw the strings on the balloon… before I realized they had images on the stamp set for that! Oops.
Oh, and I am giddy about the triangle border in the Mod Borders set. I used it to stamp the background on the notecard.
The happy is from a die cut – quick and easy. I pop dotted it for dimension…
Here is a look at that fun 6×8 balloon set. Lots in here…
Thanks for stopping by. To check out all the new MFT products, head HERE. See you soon. (Oh and the winners of the Summer Card Camp 2 spots are Bea W, Mary Sara P. and Mary Nichols. The winner of the Paper Smooches set is Christine Ousley.)
