Go To Gal Goodbye

Today they announced on the Paper Crafts blog that I will be stepping down as a Go To Gal. Since becoming a Go To Gal, I have had two additions to our household (a baby and teen!)… causing me to cut back on work. Although it is sad to no longer be on the team, I made the decision because I know it is best for my family and best for Paper Crafts as they need someone who can give them their all. I very much enjoyed my time as a Go To Gal for one really big reason – the people. These gals there are passionate about bringing inspiration to paper crafters, and all have a heart of gold. I hope to still contribute when I can and will remain loyal to them as a magazine. I will also miss the other Go To Gals – their talent is amazing and their kindness is real. I am so thankful to have their friendship! (To everyone at PC – thank you for your kindness, understanding and support. Love you all.)

I thought I would share one of my favorite cards that I had published in Paper Crafts. Yep – you guessed it – it is bright and happy…

This card design is a great one for using up scraps. Easy peasy. Oh, and I inked the edges of the papers slightly, giving them each a defined edge. (This is a tip I shared on Day 1 of Pattern Play. I find it makes a big difference.)

Thanks for stopping by. Oh, and I will be back soon to answers some of your questions and announce some winners. Take care.

  23. Hello Jennifer
Easy to understand that you need more time for family….especially the kids. I have often wondered how you managed to share all your fantastic creativity within so many platforms and still find time to be a mother, housewife etc etc. So happy to know that you might get more time to one of the most important things : our kids.
Wish you all the best and wanted to tell you that I’m happy to be able to follow you here on your blog. Guess you might still find time to share some of your lovely happy bright designs now and then. You are so talented so I’m sure you’ll need to do some artwork now and then….
