New Fiskars Trimmer + BIG Giveaway!

There is one tool all crafters need more than anything else: A really good paper trimmer.

Today, I have a video sharing my favorites – including the new big momma Fiskars ProCision Trimmer….

Here are the products I feature…

The ProCision trimmer really is amazing. It is heavy duty, but does not sacrifice precision and fine cutting…

That blade? That blade cuts like butter. Even through many layers.

I have the Procision Trimmer sitting on my side desk and use it on every card. But I still have my ol’ favorite SureCut Trimmer right in the thick of things on my workspace. It is smaller and good for quick cuts while I am in crafting action…

I still love that wire guide. It is perfect for cutting out strips of already-stamped greetings. I know people have said the wire has frayed on them, but I have several of these trimmers and use them daily and it has never happened to me. (Fiskars has great customer service, btw!)

I know many people like guillotine-style trimmers. However, with kids around (and the fact that I am clumsy), I don’t feel comfortable with them.

So there you have it – the tale of two great trimmers.

* I was not asked to do this post by Fiskars. I did it because I finally found trimmers I love and wanted to share my discoveries. I get asked about trimmers quite often. *

And since I like to share, how about giving one of the big bad momma paper trimmers to a lucky winner? Just leave a comment here by Saturday at 11:59pmEST for your chance to win a Fiskars ProCision Paper Trimmer! Good luck.

  2. Namaste from India 🙂

This video about Fiskars trimmer is informative and helpful. Even a novice like me, is able understand how fantastic this product works!!!
I love all your card making videos, keep posting and inspire new artist…. Thanks…

P.s : Whether contest is over or not, posted it because love the way you explain about making cards, stamps ect.

  3. That new trimmer certainly looks very impressive (and probably too heavy to ship overseas). I was wondering, though, if it only comes with measurements in inches? Being in Europe, I normally work with mm.

  4. I have the SureCut trimmer and absolutely love it! This big momma one looks amazing too though! Would love to be able to cut multiple sheets of cardstock at a time!

  5. I love my smaller Fiskars trimmer with the wire guide but could really use the big mama Fiskars trimmer. I love that you did not call it the big daddy trimmer. As it can trim multiple sheets of cardstock at a time, it would be less stress on my wrist and still guarantee accurate, straight cuts. Thank you for sharing this trimmer with us and for giving one away.

  6. I still have the old Fiskars rotary cutting system, about 11 years old now. I lost the decorative blades already. My son experimented with it and then it’s gone including the compartment cover. This will be a good upgrade to my old one. I believe in the longevity of Fiskar products. See how old my trimmer is? Thanks for the chance to win.

  7. Wow that precision trimmer looks great. I have the other Fiskars trimmer and I love it. Straight cuts all the time. Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. I love Fiskars trimmers! I have used them for years. I recently purchase a guillotine trimmer but I’m wanting a blade cutter also. I need to try out those titanium blades!! Thanks for sharing!!

  9. Fabulous! Thanks for sharing. I like that the ProCision trimmer folds up for more compact storage. Some of the other large trimmers I’ve seen are huge and don’t allow for easy storage. Love the SureCut Trimmer. I’ve been using that one for years.

  10. I’ve heard such great things about the ProCision trimmer and would love to try it out. Thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

  11. I have been learning from you for at least 4 years and each new product you share, each new card you make has helped me grow as a “card artist”. My trimmers have been used for years and I need a new one. Even if I’m not a winner here, I will be looking for one of the ones you have advertised. Thanks for all you share with us.

  12. I have been reading your posts for years. Your creations, directions, photos and links have helped me grow a lot. I have gone through many paper cutters in my time as a cardmaker. I was just ready to look for a new one that better fits my needs and there was your post. I’d love to be a winner in the paper cutter giveaway. If not, I will know which brand to look at in the craft stores. Thanks for all you do to share your work with us. You are awesome!

  13. WOW! That definitely looks like a fabulous trimmer. Thanks for sharing the video and thanks for the opportunity to possibly win one. I have only recently begun scrapbooking again after a year’s hiatus. I am trying to replenish supplies and it always good to know about the best new things out there on the market.

  14. This new trimmer/cutter looks great. i would love to win it. I have so many Fiskar products that I love and use all the time. I know I would love this one too.

  15. I’ve been researching trimmers for weeks and decided on the Procision. Unfortunately, I can’t find it anywhere locally to purchase. Winning would certainly solve that problem…thanks.

  16. Just heard about the ProCision trimmer — really like the idea that the base can be folded under thus making it easier to store or use in tight spaces. Also like the idea that it can cut such thick materials and yet cut thin strips.
