Announcing Holiday Card Boot Camp!

I am so excited to announce my next adventure with my friend Kristina Werner

Have you taken a peek at your calendar recently? The holidays are just around the corner! We’re here to help you check hand crafted holiday cards off your to-do list! Join Kristina Werner, myself, and 12 of our most talented friends as we walk you through how to create your own 2011 holiday card in Holiday Card Boot Camp. Whether you’re hoping to create a card that includes photos, a newsletter, a gift card or more – you’re sure to be inspired. This class includes easy to mass-produce cards, 16 videos, card sketches, and stamping and cardmaking techniques.

Holiday Card Boot Camp runs November 7-21, but all content will always be available after signing up! This fabulous class is only $29 and includes many prizes, along with discount codes to favorite online stores.

For more class information or to register, click HERE.

I have three spots for Holiday Card Boot Camp to give away! Just leave a comment on this post telling me if you create your own holiday cards and I will pick winners on Friday night. (If you have already registered and are the lucky winner, you will receive a refund of the class price.)

Oh, and a few other gals are giving away spots right now, too. Be sure to go leave comments there, too, for chances to win! Tami Hartley, Kristina Werner, Lisa Spangler and Shari Carroll.

I know many of your kids out there are doing fundraisers for school stuff. Well, my 16-year-old step-daughter is working really hard to help out her school’s band program. She asked if I would reach out to my awesome blog readers to see if anyone was interested in ordering from her fund raising site. There are lots of great gift ideas there – just order before October 14. Thanks for considering – Kay and I thank you! Just visit THIS SITE and enter the code “22B8TZM”

Oh, and you may remember Kay from her famous “blog takeover week” – it was a hit. You can see the posts here: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5. Love that clever girl.

Hugs all around.

  1. YES, I do make my holiday cards, despite my husband wished that I didn’t! Every year I intend to ge them done by the end of Thankgiving weekend, but that just never happens…
Your Inspiration Showcase was so super, thanks for offering a spot in your Holiday Bootcamp. That’s really what I need to “whip me into holiday card making shape!”

  2. I’m not doing my own holiday cards, but my mom. She’s so great at this & she loves to do it. Making cards is her hobby and I love her cards.

  3. I enjoy creating my cards for the holidays as well as the ones for my mother and mother in law. Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. I’ve made my own holiday cards for about 4 years now — got married in August so now I’ll have a new challenge to make a holiday card that will fit my husband too!

  5. I do make my own cards — except one year. The year my daughter was two. I was behind, still not having a handle on a toddler and making over 100 cards. It was Christmas Eve. I was still working on cards. My 2 year old knocked over a glass of water and ruined every single card. I never jumped, never yelled — I just cried. Like a toddler. LOL Freaked my husband and my daughter out. LOL Now whatever I have made by Dec 21 is what goes out…and I’m OK with that.

  6. Ooops! Hope I’m not too late! This will be my first year to make holiday cards. I got started making cards this past spring, so I’m really excited to make holiday cards this year! I could use all the inspiration that I can get! Thanks for the giveaway 🙂

  7. Jennifer………..I just love your classes!!! I’ve taken all of them and am already registered for this one. Here’s hoping I get a chance to earn a class for free! Thanks so much for generosity!

  8. I’m ahead this year, yeah!!!! My LSS has been offering a Chrismas card class each month, I’ve tried to go as often as possible, so now I have quite a stash ready to go. But I’d love to win a place in your class:-)

  11. would love to win-I always make my own cards. The last two years, I even made each one unique-no mass producing for me-so much fun!!! 🙂

  12. Will be making at least 50 holiday cards this year…Holiday Boot Camp would be a great way to jump start those creative juices.
Would love a chance to win a complimentary class.
    Thanks

  13. I’ve been making cards for a year now and everyday I learn something new. I’d really love to take one of your classes Jennifer. Thank you for the chance to win one.

  14. I have never taken an online class before – and have only made cards occasionally, nevre for Christmas. Both out of fear – what if the instructor goes too fast, or what if my cards don’t look awesome? This would be a great opportunity to conquer both my fears and learn from the best!

  15. This will be my first year so I’ll need lots of inspiration…hoping Santa will leave a die cutting machine under the tree for me too. 🙂

  16. I have made my cards the last couple of years….. when I found some wonderful stamps, practiced, and realized it’s okay if your stamping isn’t perfect, and found some awesome inspriation from blogs like yours, Kristina’s, Dawn McVey’s, Nichole Heady’s and the other PTI design team members (you all are such amazingly talented women!) I love the inspiration I get by checking your blogs daily. I would love to have the chance to take this online class. Thanks!

  17. Would love to win a spot. You do such great classes! I am not sure if I have requested this before.
    Thanks for offering the spots.

  18. I try every year to make my own holiday cards, and sometimes I even do! Truth is, some on my list get hand made cards and some may not. It depends on the year and how busy I am, though I would like to be able to send everyone on my list a hand made card!

  19. I have been making my own Christmas cards for 17 years now. It all started when I was on maternity leave with my youngest son and I was feeding him in the wee hours of the morning and watching QVC, they had craft hour and I ordered a Christmas card set. All you needed to do was dot the paint tube in the circles…..everyone was awed that I could accomplish so much with a little one and a 5 year old! Needless to say, my cards have vastly improved from that first year!

  20. Hi, Jennifer. I started making cards in 2009 as an outgrowth of getting a memory book ready for my mom’s 70th birthday. I got hooked on it and introduced it to my best friend. Now we make cards together. In addition, my scrapper cousin got interested in making cards, so the three of us have a monthly card challenge which we really enjoy. (I wrote a computer program to assist in determining the card description because there were too many choices of techniques.) All that to say, YES I make my own cards. Even though I start with the idea of an assembly line, they all turn out individual and typically crafted for the recipient. Maybe that’s why people love getting them. I have proposed that we three make cards for the “Cards that Care” effort you are sponsoring this year.

Thanks for the great information you share and the resources you make available to us. Have a blessed day. Kay

  21. I enjoyed the last class very much….however this time of year I need all the $$ for supplies for gift making…..sorry to miss it.
    Good Luck…….moeboe

  22. Jennifer,

    Hope you’re feeling Better!
