Welcome to Invited Sponsor My Favorite Things + Giveaway!
I am very proud to introduce my next Invited Sponsor, My Favorite Things. (And, be sure to keep reading for an awesome giveaway…)
My Favorite Things has recently (and quickly!) become one of my favorite companies. Why? Here are 10 reasons…
(10.) All My Favorite Things products are made in the USA. Hooray! Therefore, their stamps always stamp crisp and perfect. (Remember – only stamps from the US will give you a good image.)
(9.) I *adore* their dies, called Die-namics. They are inexpensive but high quality (see reason #1) and come in the cutest of shapes.
(8.) MFT stamps are wonderful for coloring. And, we all know how addictive that is.
(7.) Kim, the owner, is a gem. She actually started MFT as a birthday present to herself with the intention of only carrying products she really loved. Hence, “My Favorite Things!”
(6.) My Favorite Things is based in Florida. And, well, since it does nothing but rain here in Ohio, I think that is cool that they get to play in the sun. 🙂
(5.) MFT keeps coming out with more and more great dies. Check the peek of a creative new one HERE on their blog and HERE in a video. Wow!
(4.) My Favorite Things sells stamp and die combo packs – made to go together perfectly. Delightful. HERE is my fave.
(3.) MFT even has several downloadable digital stamps. Love this option.
(2.) You can buy MFT everywhere, including in their shop and Simon Says Stamp.
(1.) I would not have been able to do my current Inspiration Showcase class without MFT’s Hearts A Plenty die. Although their metal dies are thin, they hold up well. Trust me – I have cut over 5,000 of them and it is still like new. Here’s the project using the heart…
I also wanted to show a card I did using both the My Favorite Things dies and stamps. Colorful and happy… perfect for the little girl I am sending it to…
To bring the image to life, I colored it with Copics and added highlights with Glossy Accents (for clear shine) and White Enamel Accents (for white dots)…
HERE is the little girl stamp I used. To give her a different look, I cut the apple from her hand and replaced it with a punched heart covered in Glossy Accents…
Behind the little girl I have three die cut pieces – all cut from the same color and layered with foam adhesive for dimension. These three pieces were cut with three MFT dies that are sold as a set to use together or apart. HERE it is…
I also used some Hero Arts Blush patterned paper on the background. That one is my favorite! Hero Arts stamps and such work great with My Favorite Things products.
How about a giveaway? Kim from My Favorite Things said I could give away a $50 gift certificate to her online store. Sweet, huh? For your chance to win, just leave a comment here by Friday night at 11:59pmEDT telling me what MFT products you would spend your $50 on. (You can look around HERE.) Good luck!
