“Baby Shower” for Heidi at Simon Says Stamp!

Recently, my dear friend Heidi – the owner of Simon Says Stamp – had a baby girl. And to celebrate, a few of my friends are joining me for an “online baby shower” in her honor!

Here is the card and gift I sent to Heidi and her new baby girl, Abigail Ann…

For this card, I white heat embossed the Magical Background on watercolor paper. I then covered with Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Inks and then sprayed it heavily with water + Perfect Pearls. When it dried, I was left with a lovely, pink, shiny background. I then cut a heart with my Silhouette and stitched it in place. Finally, I added a computer-generated greeting…

I get excited anyone has a baby. Why? Because I get to order a personalized shirt from my talented friend, Amy Tan. Her creations are amazing. AMAZING. Who wants a store-bought onesie when you can get something this stinkin’ cute?

And, the back… oh my cuteness…

I love babies. And want one. I always want one. If we up to me, I would be pregnant every day of my life. I loved being pregnant. But thankfully, it isn’t only up to me. 😉

Now, be sure to visit my friends who are playing along in this “baby shower…”

Big hugs to you, Heidi. Adore you! Give that little girl a kiss from me.

If you had signed up for True Scrap through me, you should have received an email from me with a link to the bonus video. If you did not get this email, please email me. Thanks!

  11. Love your card and the shirt! Please congratulate Heidi for me. I tried to on the Daily Marker, but like so many blogs this week, the comment feature is down and I cannot post there.

  12. This is such a beautiful card! I love the personalization. And the stitched heart with the bow is fabulous! Being in a foreign country I can’t keep up with all the new products, nor are they in my budget so it’s so nice to see such a pretty card that I would actually be able to make with the supplies I have on hand. I’m sure your girlfriend will treasure it always.

  13. Just wanted to comment on how much I love your card and the cute little tie-died shirt! Really beautiful work.
