Birthday Boy

I am taking today and tomorrow off to celebrate this little guy’s 5th birthday…

He turned 5 today (although he acts like he is 40) and we celebrated as a family.

Tomorrow? A party with 30 kids. Yes, I am nutso. I promise to share photos of all the goodies we made.

In the meantime, I am off to snuggle with this little guy. Love him so. Happy weekend.

    Happy birthday Colin! The years do fly by so fast – enjoy every moment – they are truly precious! My girls are in their 20s and it seems like yesterday that they were little. And yes, I loved to do the big parties – fancy invites, goodie bags and all! Have a fabulous day!

    Oh, happy birthday Colin! My little guy turns 5 in July and I can’t believe it’s gone by so fast ;D He starts kindergarten in September too – I just know I’m going to cry! Have fun tomorrow!!

    As I sit at my computer snuggling my newborn just like you in that photo, I too am thinking about my 4yr olds 5 yr celebration. It seems like yesterday I was holding him likes this. Goes in the blink of an eye it seems! Have a great celebration! Can’t wait to see the pics! Happy Bday Colin!!

    What a sweet picture! Enjoy the snuggling, it goes by so fast! Somehow my own sweet babies have morphed into 19, 16 and 10 year olds and I swear they were that tiny a few days ago!!

My middle one just turned 5 last month and I found myself feeling sad about her growing up… sigh. I just want to freeze them at this age!     HAPPY B-DAY COLIN!!!!! My boys (Isaiah & Jeremiah) will be 6 in may and I’m amazed at how fast they have grown. They say the darnest things and littel by littel they start leaving it behind. Cherish every minute & keep snuggling. I hope colins parties like a rock star….oh i wanna see pics of the party.

    Hi Jennifer! wow…I remember being home as a new mom at 18 of a beautiful baby boy and having a husband who was serving in the Navy and at the time of my baby’s birth, Dad was in Desert Shield and I didn’t know if he would come home to see our beautiful baby boy God blessed us with….I sent him pics of us and him and prayed he would come home….almost 5 months after the birth, Thanks God dad came home and the war broke out…this was 20 years ago. My son will be 21 in July! They do grow up fast, he’s in his last year of college and I miss him so much…when I do miss him a lot I cry and remember when I used to comfort him by having him fall asleep on my chest like a baby monkey…lol..he was a skinny baby with long arms and legs…I love him so much!! Happy Birthday Colin…make your day a special one for mom to remember ok!! God Bless you and yours Jennifer!

    Happy Birthday Colin!! What a sweetheart, and I know exactly what you mean when you say you love him so much. Sometimes makes you just want to smile and cry at the same time how much you can love your child, huh? What a beautiful thing. He is really a cutie too!!

    Enjoy the age of 5 now and snuggle as much as you can…next thing you know they will be 16 and nearly 6 ft tall like my son. LOL But he still loves his Mom even though Im onlyu 4’10” tall! He just leans down to kiss me now.
