Day 3 of HA/PTI Stamp Challenge and GIVEAWAY!
Hey there! Before doing the challenge, I want to mention a great giveaway. A sweet girl named Amy Tangerine sent lots of shirts for Colin, Kay and Audrey. AMAZING handmade shirts. Here is Colin sporting his handmade tie shirt. Love. And a "hug life" shirt I wear often. And! An adorable personalized shirt I had made for Colin to give to his girlfriend for her 4th birthday. SO cute in real life…
Well, I have two more of Amy's handmade shirts to giveaway (both are size XS – great for a teen). Just leave a comment here by Sunday night and I will pick two winners – each will get one of these shirts…
If you are interested in personalized shirts made by Amy, contact her HERE.
AND! Amy also has a great online workshop starting soon called "Get Those Creative Juices Flowing." Be sure to check it out HERE – it looks like a stand-out class with lots of fab info.
Now, onto the challenge…
It is Day 3 of my Hero Arts and Papertrey Ink Challenge with Maile Belles. Be sure to head to her blog next – she is one talented gal. Today we are using the Hero Arts Music Background and the Papertrey Ink All About You set…
And here is my take on these stamps. I stamped the music background (which can be used anytime – not just for holiday) with Platinum Metallic Staz-On Ink on a acetate (clear) card from Hero Arts. (See a tip below.) After lots of white embossing, Distress Inking and more, this is what I came up with…
OK… a little tip for ya. When stamping on smooth surfaces (such as transparency or acetate) with Staz-On Inks, it is very easy to mess up. Most of the mess-ups actually occur when pulling your removing your stamp after inking. So, be sure to use THIS Stamp Press for this kind of stamping. (I actually use it for all stamping now.) After you stamp you simply release the press and it pops up on it's feet. No mess-ups…
Lots of fun using these stamps together. Now head on over to Maile's blog!
See you tomorrow.
