Day 3 of Inspired Stamp Challenge Week

After a day off, we are back to our Inspired Stamp Challenge Week – Day 3. Be sure to check out Jill's creation HERE next.

Today, Jill and I will both be using the Hero Arts Tall Flower stamp, along with THIS card by Jill for inspiration…

And here is my take on this challenge. I cut the card to 4.25"x4.25" and let the flower stick off the top. The images are embossed, making it easier to paint the flowers with Twinkling H2Os. So much fun. And those adorable light dot papers? That is from a pack of 6×6 papers from PoppyStamps, which is run by Memory Box Dave's kids. So cool.

I am getting lots of questions on Twinkling H2Os. They can be used like watercolor (with lots of water) or like a thicker paint (with less water) and always leave amazing shine. You will love them – promise. You can find them HERE.

I had Twinks a long time ago but never used them. Thanks to an AWESOME class I took with Dave from Memory Box (who used to be an engineer, too!), I am now in love with them again. This card has a piece I made in class with him. The background is done with Twinks, and then we just stamped on it. Lovely results in real life…

By the way, that plaid background? It is THIS stamp stamped once in each direction, creating the plaid. Fun.
