Giveaway! And A Muse goodness…

Happy, stampers.

So, I have a great giveaway. This one comes from the super generous folks at Simon Says Stamps. I ordered something from them. Something small. A few days later at my doorstep, there was a GIANT box. LOTS of great goodies inside. I emailed Heidi and she said, "give it away!" So, I have lots to give give give. I will randomly give them away over the next couple weeks. But in the meantime, I want to do one today. Want this baby?…

THIS die cut from Tim Holtz fits perfectly on a card. LOVE it. If you want this baby, just leave a comment here by Friday night telling me your favorite color to craft with and I will pick a lucky winner. Good luck!

Next up…

I was so excited that Jenn from A Muse was coming to Simply Scrapbooks. I know Jenn from shows where she attends for the store she works for. She is FUN, so I knew I needed to go see her. Her class rocked – she is a hoot – and I bought lots of new A Muse goodness afterward. Made this quickie card yesterday…

Supplies: A Muse wreath stamp; Hero Arts stamps (greeting, graph background); Hero Arts notecard, metallic decor and White Chalk Ink; Glitter Pen; Colored Pencils.

I cut the center of the wreath out with a craft knife. "Peace" is stamped on the inside. Simple.

OH… and I see A Muse has some giveaways going on right now on their blog… look HERE.

Off to bed. Night!

  1. This summer I’ve been using a lot of purples and greens — very faded shades. I think they make me feel cooler.

  2. What a great card….just love that
wreath! My favorite color would have
to be kraft – nice warm tone and can
be enhanced w/just about any ink color.

  3. Kraft is my go-to color for cards, but as to “real” colors, I’ve been using yellow a lot lately. Yellow! Not my favorite color at all, but it’s so sunny here in TX, it seems to fit. Plus I have so many new Hero Arts stamps to play with…. 🙂

  5. Love the card…clean and simple, yet beautiful! Sometimes, less is more! As for a fav color, I don’t think I have one color that I use the most…it depends on what I am making. I guess I just love COLOR! 🙂

  6. Thanks for the giveaway!! I love, love, love use Kraft, browns, greens and oranges!!! the most is the peeled paint I really love it!!!

    Thanks 🙂

  7. chocolate brown, because you can combine it with so many other colors. It is great with light blue, pink, yellow, aqua….. I could go on forever!

  9. The Turquoise and Aqua families are a favorite of mine–I would love to start collecting Tim Holtz’ dies. I’ve got to get a machine first!

  10. I love all colors, and I mean love. But I found that I tend to use kraft for the bases and background.

  11. My favorite color to use while doing papercrafts is Kraft. But my favorite color in life is Plum.
Thanks so much for the chance to win!
    🙂

  12. I really like all of Tim Holtz designs. I found your website through his. It would realy be hard to pick one color. I like them all. Ok, I guess I will choose pink. That was the main color I used in my last card to my granddaughter. Love your site.

  13. It’s impossible to pick one color… I love all colors. But if I had to choose one, it would have to be red. It works for Christmas, Valentines Day, birthday and other “happy” cards.

  14. Pink – Green & Brown – I really like the combination. I have been wanting to try the new Tim Holtz dies **fingers crossed**

  15. Thanks for the chance to win goodies!!! My favourite colour to craft with? I love all colours, I always use a colour in function of the person for who I make a card, or in function of the occasion the card is for.

  16. Purple is my favorite color. Any shade, lilac, lavendar, etc. I love all shades of purple and I think it’s a beautiful color for cards and scrap pages.

  17. Love your blog Jennifer! I love blues that remind me of the ocean–it’s like a double bonus because I am crafting AND I daydream about vacation at the same time. 🙂 Thanks for a chance to win!

  18. Thanks for another opportunity to win!

I love blue..I love to craft with blue, decorate with blue, wear blue. Oh, and yellow! Yellow makes me happy! And green! Green is so soothing! And….

It’s so hard to choose, but truly, my favorite color is blue.

  19. Hard question – I would have to say one of the many shades of brown, since most of my cards have a more antique/distress feel to them. Simon Says Stamp is an amazing company! After I saved enough to buy that amazing Fiskars trimmer, they accidently sent the wrong one. When I contacted them, not only did they ship the correct one right away – I was told NOT to return the incorrect one – so now my crafty daughter also has a brand new trimmer, something I would not have been able to purchase! I will be Simon Says Stamp loyal – FOREVER!!

  20. I love all the colors, but I would say that green gets used the most. It goes with everything and can tone things down or make things pop! I especially like the brighter shades. Thanks for the chance to win:)

  21. Love the simple Christmas card. That’s the kind of thing I could do at the last minute and still get handmade cards sent. I always “intend” to start early but never seem to get it done.
My favorite colors to use are green and blue although I need to try more kraft. I really like what I’m seeing it used for so much now. Thanks so much for offering the prize.

  22. First, thanks sooo much for the opportunity…and the chance to hope!! I would sooooooo LOVE T!m’s die.

Second, thanks to Simon Says for giving you the gifts to give to one of us…keeping my fingers…and toes…crossed.

My favorite color…can’t pick just one but I tend to gravitate to Southwest colors…corals, teals, lavenders, & sage-y greens.

  23. I find myself buying a lot of black to make things “pop” on my pages. It works well with so many papers. Always looking forward to your posts and great ideas Jennifer!

  24. My favorite color is red; but especially paired with green…I love making my own Christmas cards and make some every year to pass out to co-workers. They usually have some type of ornament attached that they can use to decorate their tree. There is one girl who never seems to get them home and has them hanging year round in her cubicle!

I love the understated look of your card and it has my favorite colors on it!

  25. My favorite color is teal, or blue. That’s so nice of Simon Says Stamps, thanks for the chance to win. Love your wreath card Jennifer!

  26. Love the wreath, green and kraft go so well together. I’ve ordered from Simon Says Stamp and love the prices and delivery fee 😀 Awesome that they gave you stuff to give away. Loving that die cut!!!
