Giveaway! And A Muse goodness…

Happy, stampers.

So, I have a great giveaway. This one comes from the super generous folks at Simon Says Stamps. I ordered something from them. Something small. A few days later at my doorstep, there was a GIANT box. LOTS of great goodies inside. I emailed Heidi and she said, "give it away!" So, I have lots to give give give. I will randomly give them away over the next couple weeks. But in the meantime, I want to do one today. Want this baby?…

THIS die cut from Tim Holtz fits perfectly on a card. LOVE it. If you want this baby, just leave a comment here by Friday night telling me your favorite color to craft with and I will pick a lucky winner. Good luck!

Next up…

I was so excited that Jenn from A Muse was coming to Simply Scrapbooks. I know Jenn from shows where she attends for the store she works for. She is FUN, so I knew I needed to go see her. Her class rocked – she is a hoot – and I bought lots of new A Muse goodness afterward. Made this quickie card yesterday…

Supplies: A Muse wreath stamp; Hero Arts stamps (greeting, graph background); Hero Arts notecard, metallic decor and White Chalk Ink; Glitter Pen; Colored Pencils.

I cut the center of the wreath out with a craft knife. "Peace" is stamped on the inside. Simple.

OH… and I see A Muse has some giveaways going on right now on their blog… look HERE.

Off to bed. Night!

  1. Favorite color seems to be what I happen to be wearing! I like most all colors.
Thanks for the chance to win something.

  2. Lately lime green and turquoise have been the two shades of cardstock I reach for most. What a cool die!

  3. I love to use pink on my cards, but that makes most of them rather girly. Gotta break out of that mold!

  4. My favorite color is anything with Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip. Love, love, love turquoise with it, pinks with it, greens, almost anything with Chocolate Chip, makes me very happy. Including cookies! 🙂

Thanks for all the fun Jennifer. You are the best! 🙂

  5. Hi Jennifer. I am so imspired by your blog. I am just getting into stamping and scrapbook and am trying to get some good tools without spending a ton of money. I love using blues and red and polka dots.

  6. I love using blues and greens on cards and scrapbook pages. I don’t have any of Tim’s dies and this one would be perfect to start my collection.

I love your pic of all the cousins. They look so natural and not posed.

  7. I love the color green but lately I’ve been working on my son’s Ohio State University book so I’ve worked with lots of scarlet and grey so right now, I love scarlet and grey. Thanks, Pam

  8. Can’t believe I’m seeing a Christmas card in July! But I was in Hobby Lobby the other day and they are putting out their Christmas merchandise! I find myself using a lot of purple! And I know if I use kraft paper, I will be pleased with the results!

  9. One of my favorite go to color combo has got to be periwinkle and peridot!! In fact I love peridot so much that I got peridot “Twinkle Toes” done last time. Love them. (Twinkle toes uses glitters both fine and med. coarse for the “polish” then they put a clear shiny hard coat over the top. Wears like iron. Of course from crafting to my toes I luv luv luv anything glittery!

  10. I like to use kraft. It is easy for any type of card you go to make. I have some kraft always cut and ready to go in the drawer for cardmaking….

  11. Wow. I guess it IS time to start thinking about Christmas! My favorite color is aqua/turquoise – but I probably use some shade of brown most because I like to antique things.
