Four FABULOUS Giveaways!

Hey, folks.  Happy Monday.

I have a fabulously wonderful giveaway for four lucky winners… and we have Heidi over at Simon Says Stamps to thank!  She is a total sweetheart and said she wanted to send me a huge box full of Tim Holtz Alteration dies to giveaway.  How cool is that?!  I am saving a few for the Cards for Kids prizes and for future giveaways, but wanted to go ahead and give some away now.  So… here is what you can win… (By the way, these work with most all die cut machines – Cuttlebug, Sizzix, etc.)

SSS Prize

Also, I thought I would share a card I made using one of these dies.  I happened to use a "reject" piece from a card I made for the Hero Arts Blog.  (Which, btw, I am hosting this week HERE – come visit me there!)  THIS die just look so fab on the front of a card…

061410 Die Cut Resist 2 JenMcGuire
Supplies: Hero Arts stamps (flowers, greeting, background), notecards, pearl, ink; Tim Holtz Alterations label die; ribbon from NYC shop

So, again, a huge thanks for this giveaway from Simon Says Stamps.  This is one of my favorite stores with great service.  You can find their site HERE… their blog HERE… their twitter page HERE… and their facebook page HERE. Thanks for your generosity, Heidi!

For your chance to win, just leave a comment here by Friday at 11:59pmEST telling me what your favorite must-have tools are right now.  (These dies are mine.)  And I will pick FOUR lucky winners – each who will win one of the dies above.

Off to watch the rest of The Bachelor.  For the first time, I am letting the girls watch it.  And let me tell you, we are laughing to the point of tears.  Audrey is most excellent at imitating these guys.  Too funny.

Night!

  1. I am loving my corner chomper right now and I can’t create without my punches! Still learning how to use my silhouette, but my newest love are my flippin’ fantastic Tim Holtz scissors, best scissors I own the search is over!
Thanks for the chance to win one of these super cool dies.

  2. Ahhh funny you ask this question. Twice a year my family goes away for a long weekend to scrapbook. One question always asked each time is, “If you were stranded on a island, which four tools would you want with you?”. Paper, tape, pictures, albums don’t count – as they are not tool.

    Here are my four.
    1. Perfect Layers: A set of three plastic ruler type tools that allow you to exactly cut the perfect layer around each picture or item that you are layering. I use these everytime, I am mounting a picture onto paper. LOVE THEM!
    2. Zutter paper cutter: cuts paper in half or thirds equally each time. Can you tell I am a perfectionist yet?
    3. My Scotch ATG tape gun. Holds massive amounts of tape and is easy and inexpensive to use.
    4. My paper cutter: I can’t imagine scrapping without one.

My Dream/Goal is to someday – have enough time to scrap like I would love too and to have a scrapbook room like yours. Ahhh – – good to have dreams!

  3. What a great giveaway! Thanks so much! The tool I use the most is my Cricut machine. I love it! I did just get a new tool that I’m falling in love with. It’s the bow easy! I’m not much of a bow maker so when I got it I was thrilled that I might have normal looking bows now. 😀

    Thanks!

  4. What did you use on the edge of Tim’s die? Looks great.
My favorite too is my Cuttlebug. So versatile and I need to go play with it!

I have so much fun making the tattered roses. This die is amazing. Also I bought the die caged bird. It really is amazing all of the things you can make from this die. I love birds and bird cages and believe me this bird cage is awesome. Oh, the blending too is magnificent. All of his products are wonderful. I have never found anything that I don’t like. Well these aren’t tool’s but I love the inks most of all. I also bought the foundations box feet and they are wonderful on my cigar boxes. How did we ever live without Tim Holtz?
