Just a quick enabling post…

You are all gonna hate me.

This post is all about enabling. ๐Ÿ™‚

But it is a good-for-you enabling, but healthy-hobby-stuff-that-makes-you-feel-good enabling.  Right?  Tell your husbands that.  Hee.

  • New new new new new Hero Arts stamps are HERE.  So excited to be able to show you more with these stamps!  (Favorites?  Here they are… THIS, THIS, THIS, THIS and THIS.)
  • HERE is the personalized stamp I used in the video.  I just love it.  Turns out the girl who sells them is really nice.  Love when that happens.
  • New Tim Holtz embossing folders are HERE!  So excited.  These bad boys work with the Cuttlebug and Sizzix.  Yum.
  • THIS paper makes me happy.  Gonna use THESE on a set of teacher cards for an end-of-the-year present.
  • THIS white pen is my new favorite.  It works.  Hands down.  It really does.  Thanks to my friend, Latrice for showing me it!
  • I am totally addicted THESE circle foam thingies.  They are wonderful.  And American Crafts?  Such a very good company.  Generous and classy.
  • My favorite Copic store just got a TON more in stock.  Check them out HERE. (For info on Copics, click HERE.)

OK… there was my enabling bit.  If you think this is over-the-top enabling, you should talk to me about gardening and flowers.  I will get you spending some serious $$ in no time flat. :)

  1. i refuse to click on any of those links–i’ve been hypnotized and i buy everything you recommend and i don’t have a crafting budget until i’m moved and the house is set…so, no, i won’t…not gonna click not gonna click

  2. WOW lots of serious goodies to spend a ton of $$$ on. I have been spending way to much recently so I have to curtail spending for a few months but I am very happy because I know have a beautiful craft room!!!

  3. Oh, boy! I’m in trouble now! Can I have my husband call you so you can explain it to him?! Seriously, thanks for the always awesome links, Jennifer! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I love the enabling post. If you didn’t do that how would we know what’s out there. I bought the paper cutter on Monday with a 40% coupon. Your right jennifer the larger surface is just awesome and that wire down the cutters alley makes cutting a breeze. TFS!! Jennifer. ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. I will not hate you for enabling! I love these kinds of enabling. I just spend a whole lot of euro’s on distress-inks, copics and hero arts stamps, and this time my husband didn’t even try to stop me. Could it be he understands I have a fabulous hobby???? hhmmm!!! I haven’t seen the new stamps in Hollands yet, but so far I like delicate blossems, garden star, tall flower, outline magnolia, large stencil flower and the background designblocks.

  11. Jennifer

Oh no my wallet will be limping a long by the time I finish your list. Thanks to you and Jana, I will be buying Copics too:) I know I said I was waiting until Dec. However, I wanted to have something new to play with over the summer. Not to mention I could not pass on Jana’s Copic class.

  12. amazing stuff. the new HA stamps are great and I cant wait to get my hands on the new tim holtz embossing folders. especially the ledger ones. Love the enabling post. And I dont have a husband for you to talk to so i can spend away!! One of the perks of being single.

  13. That butterfly stamp is my favorite new one!
Love ALL the school supplies from October Afternoon.
Gotta try the white pen. Does it write on photos?

  14. I love your enabling posts… and so does my local craft store ๐Ÿ˜‰ I always trust your judgement of craft things, so if you recommend it, I know it must be good! I appreciate you taking the ‘trial and error’ out of my purchases!!
Since you love gardening, have you ever heard of Lee Valley? They have some wonderfully creative gizmos for gardening, and some great craft stuff too ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Oh good gravy, I’ve already spent this month AND next month’s crafting budget! What am I going to do?! Thanks for sharing your faves with us ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Thanks alot, I think. The real question is, how long will I be able to ignore the links. And gardening? I may be able to beat you on that one. That’s what happens when you have three greenhouses measuring 30′ x 96′. I don’t know the measurements of the other three. I don’t want to know. And think backyard that EASILY seats 350 people. Okay, the links are calling. I’m ignoring, I’m ingor….

  17. Uh oh! I should’ve heeded your warning! Now I see a couple of things I “must” have! ๐Ÿ˜‰ thanks for all the links!

  18. Thanks so much–this is a perfect pre-memorial day celebration activity–checking out links that will provide a summer of fun.

  19. Lots of fun goodies. So excited for the new Tim Holtz embossing folders and always love a new HA release! I was estatic when I discovered that Uniball Signo white Gel pen a couple years ago–even more so when I learned my husband could buy them for $1.20 when he goes to Japan (needless to say I had him bring me back a bouquet of them).

  20. Every time i buy something from your enabling list i am happy happy happy. Such good stuff from Fiskars and Tim Holtz and Ranger. And I am a Hero Arts Junkee! I will try anything with the Jennifer McGuire Good Cardmaking Seal!

  21. Oh, sigh … not I want new stuff! ๐Ÿ™‚ I did, like that other poster above, go buy that paper cutter you previously recommended because my other one was so annoyingly bad – not proper cuts all the way through and not quite straight … could’ve just been cutting with scissors and made a straighter line! That one is amazing!! And I found that (tip coming, get ready) I can use it to score too. I just lift up the swing arm with the blade and use the gully where you usually cut with my bone folder to score! So cool!! Use the measurements on the side to make a perfectly lined up scoring line and you are good to go! Used it the other day to score a nice border for the front of my card. More like embossing a front but I score the cardstock before folding too. So cool!! I don’t think it’s made for that but it is awesome!!

Thank you for all your fabulous design ideas and the occasional enabling post! Nice to see what’s out there and what really works in terms of tools.
