How-To Video: Stamping and Silhouette

Hey, there.

Thought I would share a video I did for the Silhouette blog.  It shows using the fabulous Three Ferns stamp with the matching die cut from Silhouette.  This is such fun to do, and, thankfully, Hero Arts has many of their images available to cut via the Silhouette.

You can find out more information about the project shown in the video HERE.  (By the way, you can go HERE and click the little button to expand the screen to watch it HUGE.)

012010 SIlhouette MNT
Supplies: Hero Arts fern, greeting and butterfly stamps; Silhouette die cut download from Hero Arts; Hero Arts pearls and notecard; Soft Pool Ink; Distress Inks; Perfect Pearls; Mini Mister; Ribbon; Silhouette

If you haven’t made the Silhouette jump yet, you are missing out.  There are downloads available from many big companies (Cosmo, SEI, etc.)… such fun.

Oh, and many people ask about the Perfect Pearls – the pearly white pigment powder that I like to put in a Mini Mister with water for a pearly spray.  I like this mix better than the pre-mixed stuff out there – the mist is so fine and no big blobs.  You can get the pearls HERE.  Inexpensive… a little goes a long way… and lots of uses for it.

Off to play with beads.  I am getting into simple jewelry making. 😉
