Happy Sunday…

Several things today…

Before I forget, the winner of the punches from last week is Sarah Martina.  I emailed you.

Thought I would share some cards I did for Kate's parents.  I used a favorite Hero Arts flower image, Hero Arts notecards and Copic Markers.  I also used a new favorite set of mine – THIS great stamp set from Taylored Expressions.  Love how detailed and classy it is.  I cuttlebugged the notecards, followed by some sanding.  This revealed the white core of the notecards, which I then added dots of color with my Copics.  Love doing this.

By the way, I get a lot of questions about what notecards I use.  I use Hero Arts – I love the white core, matching envelopes and rounded envelope flap.  They are from Memory Box – high quality.

Speaking of Memory Box, I have some more prizes for the card drive to share…

PRIZE 51: 10 packs of Memory Box notecards donated by Memory Box… a $70 value.  These are the BEST cards.  (Hero Arts sells these.)

Notecards

PRIZE 34: Complete set of Doodle Cutz donated by Heather Mills of A Scrappy Design Etsy store.  This looks fun!

I am so amazed at the prizes rolling in.  Makes me smile.

Next up, some links worth checking out:

  • Love Heather's fabulous fun cards for Kate HERE.
  • Jenn B did a great Halloween project HERE.  And, she shows steps for using Hero Arts digital.  It is really helpful.
  • If you have a MacBook Pro (we are addicted HERE), THIS is really cool.  It is a vinyl sticker (peels off without hurting the computer) that looks like an etching.  LOVE it.
  • If you like to support handmade and like fun clothes for kids, check out THIS etsy seller.  I have gotten a few things from her (love the tie shirts) and she is always willing to make any size and color.

I better get going.  Need to work on kitting for Scrapfest.  Anyone going?

Happy new-week to you.

  1. Thanks Jennifer! I emailed you back… I just explained to my hubby about cards for Kate. We talked about how love always wins. I’m so amazed at all that’s happening… anyway, I’m having a moment…lol. Have a fab week!

  2. I’m getting excited for ScrapFest. My mom and I are signed for you and Shari’s class on Sunday, “Cards that Give”. We’re super excited!! The Hero Arts classes are always the BEST!

  3. Beautiful cards, Jennifer! Great links too. I checked out the prizes and WOW! So many great ones. Love that Dave Damsey donated. We took his Financial Peace University course through our church this past spring.

  6. These prizes are just amazing! I’m so glad to see such a response because I know that prayers are being said with each entry; a special thanks to all of the prize donors! And thanks Jennifer for your inspiring samples!

  7. Love those cards. The white core is fun to work with. I have this set from Taylor. She’s such a sweet girl. I met her back when she worked for Stampendous. See you in a few days. Scrapfest will be fun.

  8. I was just racking my brain yesterday trying to remember another sentiment set you referred to a long time ago? Maybe a downloadable purchase of sentiments like “praying for you” or something? So this is perfect timing — thanks for sharing the Taylored Expressions stamp set! And I may not be able to resist a tie onesie for a gift, haha!

  9. My sister, a friend and I are going to Scrapfest. We can hardly wait. We are all in your Fun Fall and Holiday Cards class on Friday and I was also lucky enough to get into the Cards that Give class on Saturday. My sister and I are Scrapfest veterans but our friend is a newbie. We told her how much we have enjoyed the Hero Arts classes previous years and about the great make and takes. We can’t wait for Friday. See you there.
