Whew!

I am back online!

Yikes.  That was no fun.  The only thing I need to do is get Photoshop on this new computer and then I am set.  I love Apple… they make things soooooo easy.

OK… back to stamping. 🙂

Here is a card I did long ago but forgot to share (I think).  It is a bit different for me, but playing with inks makes it fun to create "new" looks for yourself.  Everything here is Distressed Inked then speckled with water.  Fun fun!

061909 Butterfly Mess 2 Supplies: Distress Inks, Tim Holtz Fragment clear tag), Hero Arts stamps and notecard, old text paper, Paper Studio butterfly punch, Glossy Accents (for butterfly body)

And!  A quick mention: Hero Arts is now on Twitter.  If you aren't on Twitter, you really should check it out.  You don't even have to tweet to do it – you can just follow others and get GREAT links from fellow artists.  You can follow Hero HERE and me HERE.  And, if you sign up to follow Hero, you could win some stamps.

OK… off to catch up on everything computer-related.  Smooch.

  3. Beautiful..but then I haven’t seen anything less from you. I have a question, related to the think ink class #1. Where do you get the foam that you used with the ranger tool to do the inking? My tool came with felt pads.

  7. As always, gorgeous creation by Jennifer McGuire!
Question: maybe a dumb question but here goes… The paper… Looks to me like old book pages. Based on other comments I assume it’s paper. But my question is, have you ever used old book pages as paper and if do, how do uou make it look like paper rather than old book pages? I’m really wanting to use some pages from a bible I got that isn’t used for the intended purpose 🙂 but when I try to put it together, it just looks like a bible page. There are some card projects I’m trying to get done and want to use pages from psalms and Corinthians. Distressing then somehow would obviously be best but im not sure how to make the pages look like paper rather than what they are.
Any help you could provide would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks Jennifer.
