Lots to learn…

Hello from the lake… again. 🙂

Just wanted to quickly share some cards that are examples of the kinds of things you will be learning in the Thinking Inking class over on 2peas starting on the 15th.  People have asked if all the projects will be a "distressed style."  Nope.  I am working to get a huge mix of styles, so there will be something for everyone.  And I keep it simple – try not to spend too much time on the "science" of it all, and more on just the simple steps to playing.

I just found these photos on my computer from when I was experimenting awhile back. They aren't projects for the class, but examples of things you'll learn.  I will provide supplies and how-tos for them when the class happens, but wanted to share something from the lake.  Forgive the poor photos.

This one is reverse masking with Distress Ink, the Ranger Foam Inking Tool, Liquid Pearls and my current favorite little Hero Arts greeting.  (I will link later… sorry.)

This next one is just a close up.  I think one of the most unfortunate things about these techniques that I will be teaching is that they are sooooo much more impressive in real life.  SO much more.  But I will try to include some cool close-ups to help show the details.  See the spots of shiny goodness? 🙂

OK… gotta run to hop on the speed boat.  The internet around here is non-existant.  Boogers!

Have a great one.  Will be back on Sunday with lots to share. 🙂
