Home! Let’s do a giveaway…

I am home.  I missed my internet.  Thank God for the iPhone. 🙂

I thought I would just share a page from the recent Creating Keepsakes.  I had several people email me about this one.  I used a 2" circle punch on the small photos.  I then glued them to white cardstock and cut around it closely for a mat.  Then the big photo was cut with a Coluzzle.  I love the word "travel"… they are Studio Calico letter stamps.

I really have been loving the Creating Keepsakes magazine lately.  Lots of fresh ideas.

Giveaway time. 🙂 Today I realized I have two of THIS great punch and thought I could pass one on to one of you.  Just leave a comment here telling me your favorite recent crafting purchase.  On Thursday night at 11:59pmEDT, I will pick a winner of this gem…

  6. About 2 months ago, I purchased the Fiskars Squeeze Punch X-Large, Round ‘n Round. I love this punch, as it’s size is a 2″ circle, it punches easily and makes a clean cut, and you can see exactly where you are punching. I recently used it to punch out 400 (yes, 400) circles to make party favor tags. I wish Fiskars would make a 2″x2″ square.

I had just strolled in to a dollar store on the different side of town that I hadn’t been in before and there was a bunch of ribbon in tons of pretty color a few different sizes. it looked like someone else had found the ribbon to cause it was all a mess in the boxes but still plenty of colors left to choose from..so i bought more than I think I will ever use..lol..but made me happy

He watched tutorials and everything. PS My machine is okay and he is saying maybe i should look to get an expression cricut. Gotta love the guy!

  22. As I am fairly new to card making and the more intricate scrap book pages I have been trying (unseuccessfully) to keep my new purchases to a minimum. Because everythings so new I’d have to say it’s a toss up, but I just picked a Crop-A-Dile. Love it! I’ve lost the frustration release, but the ease of this little unit is amazing. I can barely get my hand around it!
