Giveaway #425 :)

Hello!

I love Saturdays before the holidays.  Lots of great things to go and do and see.  Love it.

First – the winner of the BasicGrey rub-ons is Tonya A!  I will email you.

Just a quick share today since family is together.  Wanted to show you a couple of my new favorite stamp sets.

This is a simple card (with a reallllly bad photo) of a card I made for Audrey.  It uses my favorite Maya Road set, Hero Arts Japanese Dolls and some awesome glitter pens.  Those pens really make the card come to life.  The photo does capture it well.  Actually, the pens should be called "shimmer pens"… it is a subtle, pretty look.  I just colored it right over the stamped images.

For the hair, I stamped it again and cut it out.  I stuck rolled up mini glue dots under the bangs to give it dimension.

Me?  I asked for a goat.  Ha – from World Vision.  And a vacuum.  🙂

Oh… and I need to enable a bit more.  Check out THESE velvet flowers from Maya Road.  I just love them – I can envision a fabulous simple card set with them!

  5. I asked for alot this year…Stickles, Alcohol Ink, Cricut Cartridges, stamps, flock, glitter, and more. I had a HUGE list so we shall see what I get.

What a cute card. I just love the Maya Road set of stamps as well. I have a couple already. I keep the tin and alter it to give away as a gift. I usually put a greeting card set inside.

  7. I asked for the cricut expression machine and a few cartridges. I have been wanting this for some time now and finally got up the nerve to ask for a big present for “mom” (myself)! I think I have been a good girl this so we will see. Thank you for the chance to win the stamps. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

  8. Sadly, I’ve been flat out to ask for anything ! I guess if I think about it – I don’t need to ask for anything anyway I have everything I want !

  9. I asked for a gift certificate at Hobby Lobby so I can begin to buy and use some of the Nestabilities everyone is using!

  10. I asked for some new patterned papers, Making Memories and Pink Paisley, nothing too complicated, or my hubby would get lost in the SB store!

  11. I guess I have not asked for much but did tell one of my kids I wanted a new toaster and blender. Something I never think to get myself. Linda Gerig

  12. Love the stamps! We moved yesterday in 40 below weather so i haven’t thought too much about Christmas, although we did get a tree put up today with the kids and that was wonderful. They were so excited and it helped shift our focus onto the season.

  13. Nothing really 🙂
Just some nice time with my husband, since this is the last Christmas as the two of us.. we are expecting baby in March 🙂

  14. How can anyone not like Maya Road?? Love ’em, Love ’em. Thanks for sharing. I just asked that everyone in my family come home for Christmas (and that’s what I’m getting) Have a Blessed and Joyous Christmas.

  16. I asked for a GC to get curtains for either my Dining Room or Bedroom…..boring yes, but if you saw what I am working with you would understand! tee hee hee
    Merry Christmas!! B

  17. I asked for something way to big for Santa to bring me this year. I asked that my kids be together on Christmas. Maybe next year we can all be together. In the mean time a Maya Road stamp set would fit perfect under my little tree…hint hint.

  18. I asked for an Epson Artisan 700… and I got an 800! 🙂 Hope you had a great Christmas. I’ve recently developed a crush on Maya Road. I especially love her chipboard!
