It is World Card Making Day! (The last day of giveaways…)

Hey, all.  Happy World Card Making Day!

I am logging in from Orlando.  Just a have a couple cards for you and a great giveaway.

First, the winner of Day 5's giveaway of the yummy ribbon is Lynda Sturney!  I will email you. 🙂

Here are some cards.  Simple, but they work. :)  On this one, I used the great new Dazzle Versamark.  You can't see it, but the background has the slightest bit of sparkle.  And I embossed with clear for a raised look.

  1. Hi Jennifer, I spent WCMD by making a card for my mum to thank her for all she does to help me, she helps me with my two Daughters who are almost 20 and the baby who is two so she is always offering to give me a break or listening to my worries & offering advice…she is just the best..i know she will love her card cause mum’s love things you make even if you dont think they are very good!!

  2. I played around in my stamp room but all I ended up doing was tidying and organizing things. Hopefully I will get to stamp real soon. Love your blog and card samples and ideas.

  5. My husband and I spent the day flying back from Portland, Oregon. We went there to see my son and his team play football. Unfortunately, my son rolled his ankle in practice last week and so he was forced to play only 3 to 4 plays. Bummer…since he led the team in tackles the last game…10 solos and 6 assists! Got home and tried to do laundry, but my washer went on the fritz so I ended up correctling student papers and watching TV. I’m hooked on TrueBlood.

  6. Spent my WCMD actually making birthday invitations for my little one who will be 3 at the end of the month. He wants a “Robot” Birthday party so that’s what I worked on (and still working on..)
Hey..Hope little Colin is well soon. No one is very happy when a little one is sick.

  8. I ended up spending more time in town running household errands, and took an hour nap after unpacking and putting things away!! Never got a card made because then we watched a recorded tv show as a family and I was too tired by that late (but not really late) in the evening.

  9. Putting my name in the virtual hat again. Love this adhesive. I ran out of good ol’ double sided stick tape at a card class and a kindly classmate shared hers and I was hooked. It’s great stuff.

  15. Sadly no card making for me. Just got a new (to me) car and spent the day reading the mammoth Owner’s Manual and driving around trying to figure out all the bells and whistles.

  16. I didn’t have a whole lot of free time to do crafts, so the little time I had I spent on the blog tour – added several to my favorites list. The rest of the day was spent with the usual – cooking, cleaning, homework etc etc. I did do a little cleaning (very little) in my craft area – it just makes me sad – wishin’ I had time to work on some cards.

  17. I had a stamp camp and invited people over to make cards and celebrate World Card making Day. Everyone had a great time, making cards, eating muffins, drinking coffee.

  26. For WCMD, I was so inspired by all the hand made cards ideas I was able to make Christmas presents for a few busy friends. I made card sets which had cards for once a month (so 12 cards total per set)that they can send out to whomever they wish and keep in touch with them.
