Scrapbook Page and some enabling…
Hey, everyone!
Glad there were some other stay-at-home-on-the-4th folks out there. 🙂
Here is a page I did quickly yesterday. Did it as therapy, kind of. The kids ask a lot of questions about their cousins in Africa. (Are they safe? Are they happy? Are they bored? Do they have friends? Can we go see them? Do they have Camp Rock there? Ha. My favorite was when Colin heard the ice cream man go by, he said “Colin will get ice cream for Samuel, Taylor and Lauren and mail it to them.” Hee.) So, I did this layout to just sort out in my head that all I can do is pray.
Supplies:
Sassafras Buttons
Making Memories Letter Stickers (the COOLEST letters EVER)
Scenic Route Paper
Photo of my SIL teaching dental care to kids in Liberia
Creative Impressions Silk Ribbon (of course)
AND! While doing this page I discovered a new love: Sassafras buttons. Get this: They have the string already sewn on! You just pop on the page. SO easy. And I love the finished look of stitched-on buttons. This is fabulous for me! You can get them HERE. 🙂 Enabling is fun! Look at them. They make me droll…
More enabling: the Making Memories puffy stickers rock. So cool looking. Find them HERE.
Oh, and I went to my PO Box this morning. I had to make *3* trips to the car with packages from all you angels out there! Can’t wait to go through them all. HUGS to you all. You rock.
Have a great weekend. I am off to ride my bike with my co-pilot on the back. 🙂
