There are some really great companies in this industry…

… and I talk about my favorites a lot.  Hero Arts, Close To My Heart, Cricut/Cuttlebug, Doodlebug, Ranger, etc.  And another great one is Fiskars.  They are incredibly generous to other companies (I can't begin to tell you the many donations they make) and have good people.  I met Melanie Bauer when she worked there, and am so thrilled she now works for 2Peas!  She rocks.  Anyway… blabbing… before she left, she asked me to be a guest designer on their site.  This is the project I did for them using their Tear Edgers.  (You can see them HERE.  They are fun little tools.)  Colin started counting at an early age and was really obsessed with numbers.  (He is a nerd like his Daddy.  Hee.  But we love nerds here, so I can say that lovingly. 🙂

Fiskars
As seen on fiskars.com.  All supplies are Fiskars.

Off to work on a post about the card drive.  More soon!  Have a great night. 🙂

  1. Oh Jennifer, I love this so much! My son, who is 2, almost 3, loves numbers and letters so much like Colin does! He can count to about 50 something. Its amazing to see them so young learning so much! I’ve been wanting to do a page a long time about this and now you’ve inspired me!

  2. I love this layout. So sweet. I wanted to share with you too about the Fiskateers. I’m a lead/founding Fiskateer and the movement started about two and a half years ago. It’s a wonderful place . . . community. We love our Fiskars and I agree . . . they are a generous and wonderful company. I just returned from headquarters. They listen as well to their crafters . . . they listen to the good and the need to improve. Wonderful people and a wonderful company. You can be a fiskateer too. Feel free to check out our blog . . . guest bloggers (would love to send you some goodies and have you share your talent with us), giveaways, sneak peeks, inspiration, etc. Feel free to email me at [email protected]
