Whew…
… I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. One minute I will feel great and start doing work and such. And I then quickly run out of steam and feel the ick again. However, I am getting better. Thank you for all the emails, comments and get-better vibes.
I am about to sit down and make a list of video and topic ideas based your comments. Thank you for all the suggestions.
I did notice a few people asked about kid invitations and cards. I had these things that I thought I wolud go ahead and share. 🙂
The first are some quick cards that I made for the girls. (My favorite two to make cards for!) They are using the newest little sweet stamps from Hero Arts – perfect for kid’s cards. I plan to use these a lot on kid’s cards, gift tags, invites, lunch box notes, etc. And the kids can use them, too! (Click HERE to see all the new things.)
Supplies:
Hero Arts stamps (frog, monkey, small dots and big circles) and notecards
Colorbox Chalk Ink Primary Elements Queue
Black Memories Ink
Colored pencils and some gamsol goodness
I did this for the Hero Arts’ 2008 catalog. You can see the details of the invite HERE.
Supplies:
See HERE for details.
I also made these pieces to go with the invite, but they weren’t in the catalog.
On this one, the string is supposed to be in his hand, but I forgot to attach it. Der.
Supplies for both cards:
Hero Arts stamps (thanks, birthday and monkey) and notecards
Black Memories Ink
Colorbox Chalk Ink Primary Elements Queue
Random patterned paper for part hat
Little white pompom for party hat topper
Colored pencils and the oh-so-loved Gamsol
String and brads and ribbon
I also shared a quick kid’s thank you note HERE. It could easily be made into easy invites, too!
This would be another great set for kid’s cards…
Hope that gives some fun ideas for kids cards. Off to have a snack and read through your ideas. Night!
