Please email me at the address on the sidebar so I can get you your prize.

And awhile back, I had a Mother's Day giveaway, but never heard from the winner, Tina1689.  If that is you, please email me!  I am not sure how to figure out how to contact you.  (Anyone know?)

Thanks, folks!  I love passing things on to others.  Just feels so darn good, doesn't it?

I will be back later to share more.  Wait, scratch that, lemme share a quick card right now. (We can't have boring posts here now can we?!  Hee.) I am sharing this one for no good reason other than I did it for the Hero blog but forgot to use it. :)  It uses the same technique as in the video HERE.  I just stamped the background on white cardstock with Versamark and clear embossed.  I then rubbed various colors of chalk ink over it.  You could also use acrylic paint.  Ranger Paint Dabbers are perfect for this.

052008 Background

Supplies:
Hero Arts stamps (background, butterflies and greeting), clear tag & notecard
Versamark ink
Chalk Ink Queue
Black Memories Ink
Clear embossing powder
Other: ribbon (from Jana's stash)

I will be back later!  Have a great day.  The sun is finally shining here and I am planting way more flowers than I should.  Anyone else have a planting addiction? 🙂

I just love the color blue! This card looks so peaceful. Great color combo with the teal green too!

As luck would have it I have both these stamps too. So much fun to see a card and have the stamps to try it:)

Thanks so much for sharing this extra card!!!!

  2. Congrats to the winners of the Fonts! Thanks for the chance at a Giveaway, Jennifer….. I’m not addicted to planting flowers~I’m addicted to blogs and blog “candy”! Even if I don’t win, I think it is fun to enter, think about, and check back later to see who won!
The Background resist butterfly card is GORGEOUS!

  3. I enjoyed your class last Sat. in Dayton! Thanks for coming to town.
I’m knee deep in planting also. And loving it! And the beautiful day.

Debbie C (who is overwhelmed w/Rudbeckia & Coreopsis – need any?!)

  4. I continue to be amazed at your creativity. It is so obvious that our brains work differently, how do you continue to come up with these ideas day after day? This one is so very pretty, those are my all time favorite colors and the colors in my scrap space.
I have been a gardening fanatic for years and used to have the most beautiful perennial gardens…..until I started scrapping/stamping. Now I struggle to share my time between the two.

  5. Wow that card is so cool!
I’m not a big gardener but we now have a whole section to plant,we have done the half of the front and do you know the one thing that is missing is flowers I just don’t know what to plant.
