Today I have a simple card using the newest Paper Smooches set, Spring Groves. Such a fun set. (It was just released today – you can get it HERE.)

For the trees, I used what I call the “good glitter.” This glitter goes on well and stays put – definitely better than opening a card and having glitter everywhere…

To do the trees, I put strips of the two-sided tape (see thumbnails below for links) on white cardstock. I then removed the release tape and added green Glitter Ritz. Using my thumbnail, I burnished it on, pressing it into the adhesive. This glitter is so fine and high quality that it gives a velvety look after doing this… and stays put. I then stamped the tree tops onto the glitter with Staz-On. I did the same process for the brown trunks. It is so eye-catching in real life – I highly recommend trying it.

I will be using this more in the future and sharing here. And I show it is action in the A Cut Above class that starts on Monday the 16th.

Here is a card I did today with some of their newest gems…

The background was stamped with the Geographic set. Isn’t this set great? Three awesome patterns in one. So versatile – one of those sets that will never get put away since I will use it so much.

The flowers are from the Reflections set. This one has a lot of solid flowers – would be good for kissing techniques or stamping with Shadow Inks (as I did here).

I get a lot of questions about good sentiment stamp sets. Here are some I reach for from PS a lot: Chit Chat, Good Gab and He Said She Said. (Love how that last set fits with the others.)

Finally, they have an awesome stamp that is really a great tool. THIS rectangle stamp is great for the mirror/reverse stamping technique. (If you took Clean and Simple Cardmaking, you saw me do a video on this technique. You can sign up anytime to take it if you are interested.) This stamp? Perfect for it…

In the past few months, I have fallen in love with the stamps from Paper Smooches. They are just so stinkin’ happy… and they make me happy.

On January 15th, Paper Smooches is releasing their newest and third set from their Kismet collection called ” Healthy Vibes.” Today I get to give you a peek at this set… and give one away…

I stamped and paper pieced the bands-aid and added them to the card… hanging on the front edge. (I like doing things like this because Hallmark doesn’t – hee.) And my favorite thing about Paper Smooches stamps? Their greetings. I LOVE their greeting styles. So I used one for the background and one for the main greeting. (And this set has many upbeat “get well” messages, which I find I need often.) Oh, and Glossy Accents on the hearts…

I think this happy card is sure to at least bring a smile to the face of a loved one who needs it, don’t you think? I sure hope so.
