Today I am part of a Go To Gals Product Challenge Blog Hop and we will all be using goodies from Bazzill.

My favorite product from Bazzill is their Dotted Swiss Cardstock. This cardstock has a subtle raised dot pattern. Unlike do-it-yourself-with-embossing-folders embossed papers, you can stamp on this cardstock. And their pack of Dotted Swiss has three shades for each color – lovely!

Here is a card I created with some of this cardstock, along with a clear embossed background. I just love how well Bazzill cardstock works with clear embossing – makes such a striking image.

I also stamped a Technique Tuesday greeting from Ali Edwards…

Here is another one I did with these Dotted Swiss cardstocks. This time I used white embossing powder with the Hero Arts Newsprint Tulips… (This stamp is a new fave of mine!)

To be able to stamp with black over the white embossing, I used black Staz-On ink. Works well!

A quick share for you – this was in a recent issue of Paper Crafts. I rarely share the cards I have in there, but wanted to share this one. If you are like me, you are in constant need of cards with messages like this one…

A little Glossy Accents goes a long way in adding some dimension and shine to those little hearts.

The greeting was generated on my computer… the band aids were colored with Copics… and the paper is My Mind’s Eye 6×6.

By the way, those band aids are from THIS Lawn Fawn set. The stamp actually has the smile on it. But for the first two band aids, I just left it uninked and stamped in the heart instead. Another way to get more from your stamps…

Today I am part of a Go To Gals Product Challenge Blog Hop. We will all be using goodies from A Muse Studios… and I love their products. And we are all doing the different takes on the same stamp, much like you see in the new Stamp It! 3 Ways Paper Crafts Issue…

I used the A Muse harlequin background stamp but added lines to it with a Silver (grey) Spica Glitter Pen to make it argyle. The little bit of shine is really eye-catching in person. I used a silver paper for the matting, too. The vintage textbook butterflies were die cut with A Muse butterfly dies – they come three in a pack. I inked them with Hero Arts Wet Cement Ink (a great gray ink) and sprayed them with pearlized water for shine. The body of the butterfly is made up of white pearls colored “silver” with a T5 Copic Marker. And I tore the antennae off an old craft project.

Oh, and see how nice that pink ink stamped? That is the Hero Arts Bubble Gum Shadow Ink that dries smooth. Love…

Holiday Cards and More Volume 6 is the recent release from the fab folks at Paper Crafts. A few weeks ago I shared a photo card I created in this issue (find it HERE) and I thought I would share another. Oh, and I ended up with two copies of the issue, so I thought I would give one away. More on that in a second.

This card features the fun zig zag fold. Love that fold. Simply because Hallmark doesn’t do it…

Hey, there. Welcome to a fun blog hop with the Paper Crafts Go-To Gals. Today we will all be using stamps from the Hero Arts + BasicGrey Nordic holiday line. And… we will all be giving a set away along with a copy of the new Holiday Cards and More. Yay!

I decided to use the snowman from the Smiling Snowman set. Isn’t he the cutest little guy?

But I kinda broke the rules after that and added a bunch of other stamping, too. The background is my new favorite stamp from Hero Arts + BasicGrey. And the clouds and woodgrain circle are stamps from Hero Arts + Studio Calico. They just worked so well with the snowman! (See the bottom of this post for all the supplies.)

Oh! And see those cute clouds? They are stamps from THIS set that perfectly fit the Fiskars cloud punches HERE and HERE. Heavenly.

Today I am joining my fellow Paper Crafts Go-To Gals for a fun Card Making 101 Blog Hop. I actually didn’t do a card (I broke the rules!), but instead did a video showing how to create a fun paper heart garland. Please forgive the quick video – I was short on time but wanted to be able to show you…

I used my all-time favorite patterned papers for this garland – the Bo Bunny Double Dot papers. There are so many great colors and they are tone-on-tone. Love love love. I hoard them.

I added the letters with my Silhouette. I tell ya – I am amazed how much use I have gotten out of that machine…

Couldn’t get a great picture of the whole garland, but it says “COLIN ROCKS.” (A little something to tell him how proud I am that he did so great on his first day of Kindergarten!) This project is so easy with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

I thought I would take a stroll down my stamping-with-markers-memory-lane and show some more ideas. On this one, I misted with a lot more water and stamped on textured watercolor paper for a more “artsy” look…

For this one, I didn’t mist at all. Just colored the stamp with Stampers Big Brush Markers and stamped…

This one is from long ago. Used Memento Markers for stamping…

This stamp is great for marker stamping, too…

And just to prove you don’t have to use your markers with only flowers…

So, I like to stamp with either Stampers Big Brush Markers from Design Memory Craft or Memento Markers from Tsukineko. Both do great, but the Big Brush dudes are more vibrant. Between the two lines I have all the colors I could ever want. I am complete.
