Every once and awhile, I go through my supplies and purge. I tend to collect a lot of supplies since this is my job… and I love to share the stuff I am not going to get to use.
Instead of giving them away, I like to sell the boxes (for an excellent price) and donate the money to a charity. For these boxes, the money will be donated to one of my favorite organizations – Kind Campaign. (If you have not heard of them, I highly recommend checking them out HERE. Their mission is to spread kindness and they go to schools doing anti-bullying talks. One of the ladies leading it is Lauren Paul – the wife of Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. Such good people.)
If you are interested in purchasing a box, please carefully read all of the information below. I have found this method is the best and most fair way to find homes for these products.
There are three types of packages I have for sale: A, B and C. The contents and prices vary between them. (See below.)
If you are interested in buying any of these, leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEST on 1/5/15 telling me two things: which package(s) you would be interested in (A, B or C) and what country you live in.
I will *randomly* pick names from the comments and these folks will be the ones who get to buy a package. I will email the picked names and we will go from there to get the payment and shipping handled. (The reason I do the random picking is I don’t like “first come first serve” as it isn’t fair to people in different time zones.)
Payment must come from Paypal (sorry – it is easiest) and I will be shipping via USPS Priority Mail. After I get payment, I will donate the money to the Kind Campaign (minus shipping)… and I am happy to email proof of the donation.
I am happy to ship anywhere in the world. I love my overseas crafting friends and feel bad that it is difficult to get products there!
Each package will have a different cost. You will pay that cost (which will be donated) and also pay shipping to wherever you are. (Shipping details below.)
Details on Contents:
I cannot show pictures of what is inside. You get what you get. No returns… sorry.
Each box has a variety of stamp/die styles and themes.
Each box has a variety of stamp/die brands.
Each box has a variety of stamp/die “usedness.” (Like that word? I made it up.) Some are new/unused, some are lightly used and some are very used… but still useable.
Clear stamps, cling stamps and dies will come in a variety of storage sleeves or with nothing. Almost none will have original packaging.
Some stamps may not have labels, but most do.
All stamps are ones I loved at one time… just don’t have time to tackle them all. Time to get them into a new, loving home!
Here is more information about each package available…
PACKAGE A… 9 available – Large Flat Rate Box – $80 + Shipping:
20+ wood-mounted stamps.
30+ clear or cling stamps. (Mostly clear.)
Bonus: a few random crafting goodies.
PACKAGE B… 2 available – Medium Flat Rate Box – $70 + Shipping:
40+ clear and cling stamps.
Bonus: a few random crafting goodies.
PACAKGE C… 3 available – Medium Flat Rate Box – $40 + Shipping:
20+ wafer thin dies.
4+ clear or cling stamps.
4+ wood-mounted stamps.
3 patterned paper 6×6 pads – a few sheets may be used.
Bonus: a few random crafting goodies.
I also have a box I am saving to use as a giveaway here soon. Stay tuned!
All packages are in USPS Priority Flat Rate Boxes. This is the best deal. I am sorry shipping costs are so high for overseas – I can’t do anything about it. You can see the shipping rate info here.
If you are in the US, shipping is $17.90 for Package A and $12.65 for Package B or C. Therefore, the final costs would be:
Package A: $80 + $17.90 shipping = $97.90
Package B: $70 + $12.65 shipping = $82.65
Package C: $40 + $12.65 shipping = $52.65
If you are in Canada, shipping is $55.75 for Package A and $42.25 for Package B or C. Therefore, the final costs would be:
Package A: $80 + $55.75 shipping = $135.75
Package B: $70 + $42.25 shipping = $112.25
Package C: $40 + $42.25 shipping = $82.25
If you are anywhere else in the world, shipping is $80.50 for Package A and $61.75 for Package B or C. Therefore, the final costs would be:
Package A: $80 + $80.50 shipping = $160.50
Package B: $70 + $61.75 shipping = $131.75
Package C: $40 + $61.75 shipping = $101.75
That’s all I can think of for now… I will add anything if I need to.
Again, if you are interested in buying a craft box, leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEST on 1/5/15 telling me two things: which package(s) you would be interested in (A, B or C) and what country you live in. I will randomly pick names from the comments and these folks will be the ones who get to buy a package.
Years ago when I was a full-time scrapbooker, I met a lot of kind people on the 2Peas message board. One was Debbi, who hosted challenges based on my books. Debbi now is over on the CSI Challenge Blog and asked me if I would be a guest. I had to say yes – she had always been so wonderful to me.
But this was tough for me! I hadn’t scrapbooked in a very long time. Very long. And it wasn’t easy. However, I am so glad I did it. I realized I missed working with photos. (More on that below.)
Here is what I created – my first Lila page…
I used various wafer thin dies… and used the words to a song I sing to her every time I put her down for a nap.
And another… using all photos from my iPhone…
One thing is for sure – I am very rusty when it comes to scrapbooking. And I am not “on trend” with what all the scrapbookers are doing these days. And I don’t really like what I created. But doing these pages made me realize something – - I need to scrapbook my photos. But not like I used to. In a new way. I will be sharing this journey with you a bit soon. I originally wasn’t going to, as I try to keep this blog for cardmaking. But I think it will be fun to share sometimes what I will be doing – a card maker and stamper’s approach to scrapbooking. Stay tuned.
(And by putting this on my blog, I am being held accountable – lol.)
Are any of you out there scrapbookers? Would love to know…
As I mentioned earlier, I am trying very hard to finish moving into my new craft space. While doing so, I am uncovering extra goodies that need a new home. If you are interested in buying any of these goodies listed below, please mention which in the comments below and I will randomly pick someone to contact. Here are some current boxes I have:
I am working on moving my office (still) and have uncovered a ton of ribbon. There is a lot of good ribbon and trim here… just more than I have space for in my new room.
If you are interested in buying a large box of yummy ribbons and trim, just leave a comment on this post. I will randomly pick and email folks as I create boxes to sell. (No obligations.) You will get a picture and more info than. Would love to get this stuff to a good home!
Awhile back I sold boxes of crafting goodies. And now that I am moving into my new craft space, I am uncovering more goodness that needs a new, loving home.
Since I will be putting boxes of goodies together here and there over the new few weeks, I can’t put them for sale all at once. So I think the best way is this…
If you are interested in purchasing a box of crafting goodies, please leave a comment on this post saying so. In the comment, please let me know which type of goodies you would be interested in buying (stamps, embellishments, punches, paper or all). When I have a box ready to sell, I will randomly pick a person interested in those goodies from the comments on this post. I’ll then contact them to offer the purchase, share more about what is for sale and state the price. (I feel this was better then having them sell quickly to only the people who were online when I sold them. I have sold both ways in the past and this way seems to work better.) If I contact you and you have changed your mind or are not interested, no worries – I can pick someone else.
The boxes will vary, but will all be stuffed very full. The prices will be a good value. I promise – all good stuff for a really good price. I just want these goodies to go to someone who can use them! (You can see examples of what I have sold in the past HERE.)
FYI about shipping – everything will ship in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box…
For those in the US, shipping is included/free in the price I state when I contact you.
For those in Canada or Mexico, shipping will be an additional $16.
For those anywhere out there, shipping will be an additional $33. (Sorry – going by USPS prices!)
If you have visited my blog before, you know I enjoy finding ways to get more out of the products I have. Two of the cards I shared on the Hero Arts blog last week are good examples of getting more from a stamp. So… I took THIS butterfly collage image (a favorite of mine) and made a girly card from it…
Then I used that same butterfly stamp for a manly card. But I covered the butterfly with a big clock image (from THIS great masculine set), giving it a different look…
Yay! A completely different look. Just cover up part of a collage image and you have a new look.
Supplies are in the thumbnails below.
So we spent the weekend purging and moving around stuff in our house to get ready for our remodel and the baby. (Yes – both at once – I am nuts.) While doing so, I put together a big box of stamps. 35+ stamps… most are backgrounds or clear sets. I also threw in several new inks and some markers. And a few other things. These are all good products – I just had doubles or needed the space. The box is on sale for $90, which includes shipping in the US. (Out of US will have to pay extra. Sorry – wish it wasn’t that way.) If you are interested buying this massive box of stamps, just leave a comment saying so. I will randomly pick someone and email you! Gonna put the money towards my husband’s fundraising efforts for the American Lung Association. (See more HERE.) Thanks!
Currently, it is only open for pre-registration for folks who had signed up for the Online Card Classes newsletter in the past. (You should have received an email this morning.) These folks get the perk of a discounted rate. On March 1, regular registration starts and you will see more information about the class from Tim and Online Card Classes. To be notified when registration is open, please go HERE and click to sign up for the newsletter. (No worries – everyone will be able to get in!) This class will be a great one – good for newbies and pros alike. Like many of you out there, I admire Tim for his amazing talent and ability to share it in an inspiring way. But above this, he is an all around good guy, so we are thrilled to bring you this class.
By the way, if you are looking for a badge to add to your blog for Online Card Classes, feel free to use this great one Kristina created. Love it…
I also wanted to let you know that I have emailed the four folks I randomly picked for the craft goodie boxes. But never fear if you still want a chance at one. After reading your kind comments, it inspired me to start putting some more together. (I need to be doing this badly! I have procrastinated because I don’t want to give many of these goodies up. But I also like to share…) So, stayed tuned for more goodie boxes. Thanks for your support.
I also mentioned that I would be doing random giveaways here and there. Well I have one today! I picked a winner from my February 15th post - Shannon Ketchum. You will be getting a few of one of my favorite adhesives – Plus Adhesive. I love this adhesive. It puts down tiny dots of adhesive that can be rubbed away if you would like. And it applies the dots in a thin line – something cardmakers can use. (You can find it HERE.)
I will have some more giveaways here soon. Purging reveals great giveaway material that I am dying to share. See you soon!
Welcome! Today’s video shows how to create glittered die-cuts and a fun glittered halo technique. [All supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post. To watch the video …
