Class Giveaways

You know I love a good stamping class! Recently I announced my next class – Clean and Simple 2 – with Kristina Werner, Julie Ebersole and friends. I am very excited about it – the first Clean and Simple class was our most popular. CAS is my favorite style, but something I have to work at. So I learn a lot form the class.

Also, two of my friends also kicked off classes of their own, so I thought I would share info here. The more classes the merrier, right? :)

First up…

The wonderful May Flaum has a class coming up called the The Curious Scrapbooker’s Field Guide – 12 Weeks of Techniques and Creative Play. She is love techniques, too!

Here is more about her class:

It’s a wild world of possibilities out there when it comes to scrapbooking. Patterned paper winds up on a mixed media canvas, while an artist’s gesso finds a home on a traditional scrapbook layout. Stamps aren’t only for cards anymore—they get used on any and everything. With all of this going on, wouldn’t it be nice to have a guide to walk you through the many possibilities out there?
During each of the 12-weeks of class, there will be a focus on specific techniques and products. Adding texture, stitching, mists, stamping and everything else she could think of—May has created a class full of information and inspiration. Students will find scrapbook layout project examples each week as well as projects such as cards, tags, altered projects and mixed media canvases. This class features a new colorful PDF handout and videos each week, and an A-Z basics library of 26 videos.

For more information, head HERE to Big Picture. Class starts 1/31.

Another class coming up that you may be interested in is from my friend Julie Campbell. She has a Journey Into Card Making class over on Two Peas In a Bucket

Here is more about this class:

Whether you’re a seasoned card maker or have yet to make your first card, this workshop will take you on a journey to create handmade cards that your friends & loved ones will cherish. Julie will start out by teaching you card making basics; you will create a card organizer to file away all the new cards you’ll be designing! You’ll then travel on to gain greater design skills. You’ll dive into design principles and learn how to create an eye pleasing design. You’ll learn all about composition & balance in a way that will take your cards from good to great! Become adventurous and explore some of the hottest trends in paper crafting! In this workshop, you’ll also learn how to incorporate colors in your projects & how to create cards in several unique styles.

For more information, head HERE. You can sign up anytime.

How about some prizes? Leave a comment here for your chance to win a spot in May’s class or Julie’s class. Closes 11:59pmEST on Saturday. Good luck!
