Product Review Close-Up: Simon Says Stamp + GIVEAWAY!

Hello! Today I am sharing a closer look at a new and unique release from Simon Says Stamp… along with several card ideas.

I haven’t done a Product Release Close-Up for several weeks, so I was excited to have one for you today. These products are new from Simon Says Stamp and are all fun… so I know it may be overwhelming. I am hoping this video helps you get a better look at the products and how they might be used. Here are the quick and simple projects I shared in the video…

I had such fun making these simple bookmarks with Lila. Lila stamped her fingerprint in several colors of pigment ink… and I stamped the new Simon Says Stamps Fingerprint Doodles images on top. Cute, huh?

These simple bookmarks actually slide over the corner of a page in a book. They are so easy to make – I just cut the corners off a sealed envelope. Easy!

We will be giving these to friends and family after Lila signs her name on the back.

I also created a couple simple cards using the new Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Fox and Bear Dies. I simply cut them from white cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers, and pieced them together on my card. The white pieces were created with the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangle Die and the sentiment is from the Simon Say Stamp Wild Cuddly Critters Stamp Set.

For the look of texture on the bear, I dabbed with a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol.

In the video I also show a look at the new Copic Marker Sketch Fine Nib. These are FABULOUS. I simply remove the rarely-used broad tip and replace with this one. Now my markers have a brush tip and a fine/bullet/firm tip! YAY! There are three in a pack.

  1. My favorite product from this release is the Fingerprint Doodles! Love those little critters and the endless possibilities for that stamp set! Of course, there are a lot of great products in this release – thanks for sharing your product review video and your card creations!

  2. I adore the Fingerprint Doodles. I’ve been looking for a craft to do with my nieces and nephews when we visit them this summer and I think this will be perfect. I might be purchasing a few extras to give as gifts to those same nieces and nephews too 🙂

My favorite product is the stamp for thanks I can think of so many ways to use this stamp. I am also a big fan of the heart with me again can be used for so many different opportunities thanks again for sharing

  4. I think my favorite has to be the Fingerprint Doodle stamp and Bouquet of Thanks stamps, hard to choose, there are soooo many good options!! Great release as always from Simon!!!

    Oh my gosh this is an amazing new release! My favorite product for this new release is definitely the Fingerprint Doodles by Kristina!!!! Absolutely LOVE these adorable little critters!!!!! Especially that flamingo and the mouse! 🙂

  7. How would you pick just one favourite from all the great Simon products? I love them all. I watched your layered wreath video and would love to try that out. Winning the gift certificate would make my day!

  8. Thanks for the product reveal! My favourites from this release are the key lime ink, the Big Greetings stamps and the Fingerprint Doodles set. So fun! SSS comes out with so many great products, it’s always hard to pick a favourite.

  9. Lots of good stuff here! I really like the fingerprint set, the Big Day die and the Bouquet of Thanks set.

  10. Hard to choose between the scripty thanks or the big sentiments because aid be able to use both really frequently!

  11. It’s a tough call, but I think my first pick would be the Bouquet of Thanks set – the included dies are definitely a huge bonus.

  12. I love the Cuddly Critters stamp set, but the Fingertip Doodles set has me losing my mind with all kinds of creative ways to use them. I am thinking about a little mini-book, illustrated story for each animal. And then putting them together in a collection in a mixed media box. I would make these for all 8 of the young ones in my family!!!

  13. I like so many of their new products but if I have to pick one, I’d say the Doodle Embossing Plate…looks like fun!

  14. My favorite is the Floral Burst Collage Die but, as always, it was hard to choose. Love the bookmark idea and the fingerprint critters too!

  15. My favorite stamp is the thank you with the halo around it. So, so pretty. I make so many thank you cards and would love to send this one to friends. I also like the bouquet of stamps stamps and die. Wonderful. Sure hope they come to live at my house!!!

  16. SSS never fail to impress and this release is no different. I love every thing in this release but if I had to choose just one I would say the Thank-you bouquet of flowers set as you can do so much with this stamp and die.
