Hello there! I am not sure there is anything more fun to create than a card with a surprise. Well… today I show how to create a surprise slider card…
Nothing is more fun than an interactive card! Especially when it includes a surprise. Today I used the new My Favorite Things Twice The Wishes Kit to create surprise slider cards, but you could create the elements by hand.
For the first card, I created a one-tier cake. But when you pull on the little tab on the top of the card, a second tier is revealed!
Isn’t that fun??
I created the cake using the dies in the My Favorite Things Twice The Wishes Kit, and heat embossed the sentiments from the kit’s stamp set. I decorated the cake with Nuvo White Crystal Dots and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pens. (Those Nuvo White Crystal Dots are great for quick, inexpensive, dimensional accents!)
My second card is a variation of the first. This time, when you pull on the tab, a cute little bear pops out!
The bear is from the My Favorite Things Beary Special Birthday Stamp Set.
Be sure to watch the video to see how these were put together using the My Favorite Things Twice The Wishes Kit. However – again – you can make these elements on your own, but the kit does make it easy!
How would you like to win a $25 gift card to My Favorite Things? For your chance, leave a comment below by 11:59pmEST on 7/25/16 telling me if you have ever created an interactive card.
