25% off + Trendy Triangles

Hello. I have a card to share with you today… and a 25% off discount code to go with it! (See below.)

I adore the folks over at My Favorite Things and the fabulous products they make. Oh, and I can’t forget their excellent, heavy-weight cardstock collection and delicious dye inks. Yes… lots of good stuff.

Here is a card I created using their new Trendy Triangles stamp set

I used a mix of MFT Dye Inks and Hero Arts Shadow Inks on this one. I have been looking for another ink to fall in love with, and I think the MFT Dye Inks may fit the bill. They are bolder and more vibrant than the HA Shadow Inks. But together? You have the whole rainbow… everything you need. I have ordered all the MFT colors and will show comparisons when I get them. But so far, so good!

I also used a greeting from the Blissful Butterflies stamp set and created the background borders with the Washi Patterns Stamp Set. Oh, and that bright pink cardstock? It is from MFT… super nice, smooth, heavy-weight cardstock… perfect for card bases and stamping. (I would recommend trying their sampler pack.)

So My Favorite Things is having a 25% off Summer Sale from 6/27 – 6/29. Just used the code SUMMER2013 when shopping HERE. (All details can be found on the MFT Blog. Excludes Brand Spankin’ New products.) This sale is a great opportunity to try out their inks and papers as they are only available on their website.

Hi Jennifer! Great card and I would have never thought to put such bright colors together with more muted colors. I was wondering–if you have PTI inks–would you consider doing comparisons with them too?

Too bad – the 25% off coupon code does not work for My Favorite Things. I get a message that reads Invalid, expired or reached its usage limit.

Sometimes my reject cards are better that the original idea. I also use my “mistakes” for die cuts…..make wonderful detail cut butterflies, etc.

  18. Love it and it inspired me to order this set and new inks too! You are such the little enabler….even if not intentional! :)
