Video: Distress Paint – OWH Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Operation Blog Spring Training Blog Hop! Operation Write Home supports our armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on. I am incredibly honored to participate, and have a video to share using the new Distress Paints

These Distress Paints are such fun…

The marbleized look is great for oceans…

And this simple design is great for mass producing cards…

I also like to computer-generate my own greetings, too…

Be sure to now hop on over to Simon Says Stamp for some more inspiration. (If you want to start at the beginning, head to Operation Write Home.)

Let’s pick a winner! Leave your comment here by 11:59pmEST on 1/9/13  for your chance to win THREE Hero Arts and Operation Write Home stamp sets!

I’ve spent some time diving into the OWH site and links and am very interested in this endeavor. I’m not a very prolific card maker, but I do go for quality, and think this might be a very worthwhile effort to join in on. These stamp sets would make a terrific start!

I love your idea to use that technique on a large piece of cardstock, then use it for multiple cards. What a time-saver!
