I am starting to pick up more work again with Hero Arts and am so happy about it. (Took quite awhile off – pretty much – while I adjusted to the many changes here in our house.) And today I shared a simple yet glittery card on their blog… one that uses a new awesome butterfly die…

To create this card, I first die cut a piece of double-sided tape. I then cut the die cut in half… saving the other half for another card. I removed the release paper from the backside and added it carefully to the edge of a card. I then removed the top release paper and added Glitter Ritz microfine glitter. After pressing the glitter in place and removing the excess, I added color to the glitter with my Copic Markers. (Many types of markers work here. I dab the ink on so as not to damage the tip of my marker.)

That is so pretty. I love the look. Can you use any other markers besides the copics? I only own three copics and don’t really use them.
yes. sharpie permanent work great. you can try other markers, too. just dab so as not to damage the tip by scribbling.
