Stretch Those Stamps

Hello. Happy Sunday.

Just wanted to share a card I did for the Hero Arts Blog. It uses three holiday stamps in non-holiday ways. Can you find the holiday stamps? (Go HERE if you need help spotting them.)

With a little clever masking and trimming, I have a happy summer card created from “Happy New Year” and “Merry” greetings.

(And now that I look at this card, I realize the center element isn’t actually centered. Oops.)

By the way, this uses two products from Hero Arts that I am really enjoying these days. First, the new Soft Granite Shadow Ink. It is the perfect grey (and a nice softer version of Wet Cement)…

Next is the Square Background stamp. I used it on the pool piece above. What a great background pattern…

Oh, and I am loving the color combination on this card. In fact, these are the colors of the new studio I am building. Such happy colors.

Paper Smooches is having a giveaway to support Operation Write Home. (One of my favorite companies and one of my favorite causes!) Be sure to check it out HERE. Cute card, too!

See you soon.

I love it…I never think to use the grey but I love blue and I am going to start trying it for a combination…

A quick question… I am in need of a new embossing heat gun. I see you used the Precision Heat Embossing Emboss Tool Gun Hero Arts sold by SSS and I believe Ellen Hutson sells the ranger one. My old one is really noisy and takes a while to heat up. I would really like a quiet one and quicker. Can you tell me which one is better with regards to these two items? TIA!
    God bless!
