More Alphabet Dies + Giveaway!

Hello again.

As promised, I am back with a couple more cards using Memory Box alphabet dies. I can see these getting a lot of use in my future! Yesterday I used the Typewriter set. First up today? The Parker set. I think this is my favorite…

Again, I added some double-sided adhesive to white cardstock. I then die cut the letters. After I removed the other side of the release paper, I added the glitter and burnished it. Voila! I thought this would be fun for Audrey who just started her Freshman year here – new to our district. Yay! Love that shine…

HERE is the Parker die set. Swoon…

And, again I used the Stardust glitter (ultra fine with a vintage silver look) and chevron background stamp with Wet Cement ink. Oh, and those perfect little stars? From THIS border punch.

Next up? The Classic die set. I did this one a bit different. I first covered a rectangle of white cardstock with double-sided tape. I then cut apart the letters of the die itself. (This is really easy to do. There is only a thin piece of metal connecting each letter so you can use them together or cut them apart.) I arranged each letter on the adhesive piece and ran it through my machine. Easy! I then removed the letters (and will save them for a future card) and just used the negative space. After removing the release paper and adding back in the center of the letter “o,” I added the glitter. For dimension, I popped it up over some bright cardstock. I love the playful look of n0t-straight-at-all letters…

HERE is the Classic die set…

You can find all the alphabet dies sets HERE – including lowercase, uppercase and numbers. (I like all lowercase, so I just started with those.)

That background stamp is so unique, too – it is THIS one from Impression Obsession. (Can you tell I just re-discovered these great stamps? Having lots of fun playing with them.)

And since I love these dies so much, I decided to purchase a set to send to a lucky winner. I actually picked someone from the comments left on yesterday’s post. (I love doing surprise giveaways for folks kind enough to leave comments – I plan to do this more!) The winner is  Winnie Dolderer! I will email you. :)

Also… I have a bit of enabling for ya. Just some fun products to check out…

  • Remember when I posted about Kelly Purkey’s awesome stamps HERE? You can now get them at Simon Says Stamp HERE. Yay!

Awesome card here again Jenniffer and these letters are really cool, but as I said last, it will be pretty expensive, if we want different kinds and of both upper and lower cases, but they looks really cool and your cards are so awesome here, I can only agree to that.
