Happiness is new stamps.
And did you hear that the fabulous Kelly Purkey has created her own stamps? They are such fun. I decided to put one into action on this card…
That greeting is incredible and looks great white heat embossed. Great for cards and scrapbook pages. I made this card for my husband – a little Studio Calico wood veneer person for each member of our family. This summer has been crazy, so I wanted to give him a little remember of how happy it makes me. (But I am taking note that there isn’t enough room on this card for another person – ha!)

And those wood veneer people… aren’t they fun? I colored them slightly darker with a marker – it helps to pick of the wood grain texture.
I LOVE the tiny herringbone and chevron background stamps on this from Impression Obsession. They are big and square so you can stamp either horizontal or vertical on a card. Brilliant.

Kelly’s stamps are incredibly fun. I have looked at them a number of times and I still can’t decide which ones I just have to have. I like them all! Your card is very cute. I am currently 5 1/2 months pregnant with our third boy, the other two are 6 & 9. The first thing out of hubby’s mouth, after we found out that this one is a boy, was “do you want to try again?” I said “Oh NO!!!” Three is enough. Plus at 36 I am afraid I am getting to old to do this again. Pregnancy this round is more tiring than with the other two….
I love the stamps too Jennifer! My question would be how does it line up for multiple stampings? It’s my belief that BG stamps should always be made to cover 12X12 if you wanted to! Cards are great but it’s nice when you can take it to the page also.
