How-To Video: Thin Glitter Die Cuts

Hello. I have a video for you today! This one shows how to create super thin glitter die cuts. Hard to explain, so I did a video to show…

Here is the glitter fun. I love that it looks like it was done by hand…

You could do this technique with many die cuts. I really recommend this Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter. It stays put and looks like shimmery velvet…

THIS is the die I used for this card. It is an exclusive Simon Says Stamp die that was made by Memory Box. (I have mentioned before my love for these high quality dies.)

There are several of these exclusive dies (including both used on this card) – you can find them HERE.

See you again soon.

(By the way, I will be back with a list of recent winners soon.)

I have recently fallen in love with Memory Box dies also, upon your introduction to them. I have several that I could use this technique with. Thanks for sharing, and the video was great! Hope you and the baby are doing well.

I can see I’m going to have to break down and get some of those dies. I try to only buy ones that are multi-purpose, and these both fit the bill.

Jennifer, this was such a great video. I’ve always wondered how the ladies did a rainbow sentiment. I love this way. By the way, I did go to simon Says and the dies are showing ‘not in stock ” Is there anyway to be notified by Email when they are back in. I thought maybe since they were new dies they weren’t shipping yet.

Amazing! I have been trying to get away with not having a die cutter, but man… I may just need to take the plunge. Haha! :]

Could you list what “powder tool” you use? I sometimes use corn starch in a similar way but having a tool would be so handy and less messy I’m sure! :)

Oh, how I’ve missed your fabulous videos! I don’t really like using loose glitter, way too messy for me, but after seeing this video, and your stamping on glitter, I now want to try it out =) TFS!

Bright & Cheerful. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful technique. I love the way you used the adhesive tape to remove the words from the thin die cut, adhere it to the background AND add the glitter. Great video

Thank you so much for the video. It was great! I never thought you could use copics on glitter. I thought it would ruin the nib. I’m going to check out the shim. I could really use it. Thanks again, and take care. :)
