Paper Crafts Holiday Cards and More Giveaway

Hello, stampers.

Holiday Cards and More Volume 6 is the recent release from the fab folks at Paper Crafts. A few weeks ago I shared a photo card I created in this issue (find it HERE) and I thought I would share another. Oh, and I ended up with two copies of the issue, so I thought I would give one away. More on that in a second.

This card features the fun zig zag fold. Love that fold. Simply because Hallmark doesn’t do it…

All Hero Arts stamps, which are linked below. Oh, and I painted in the holly with markers and made the berries shine with Glossy Accents.

Easy peasy.

I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween. My little dude is super excited.

How would you like a copy of the Paper Crafts Holiday Cards and More Volume 6? Well, just leave a comment here by Wednesday night for your chance.

Studio Calico Video

Hello!

I wanted to share with you a video I created for Studio Calico. It shows using stamps in a not-so-normal-way and covering wood accents. (Each month, I will be doing two videos for them – one using their online kits and one using their products sold in stores.)

I adore using these kits. For this layout, I used the November kit called Handmade and add-ons.

I have linked all the supplies below. For more information, click HERE.

See you soon.

Life on hold…

Between being sick and big-time computer problems, I have been MIA. However, I will be back soon. Sorry!

In the meantime, be sure to check out two things…

First, over on the Hero Arts blog this week, I featured a few artists that I adore. Their work is amazing! And most of the holiday cards they created are simple yet stunning – perfect for the holidays. (And simple and stunning is very hard for me to create – I wish I could – so I am very inspired by these girls.) You can go HERE to see them all. Also, be sure to watch Julie’s video from Wednesday. It is AWESOME – so fun, funny, creative and adorable. Fabulous.

Also, Vera and I have added some great prizes to the Cards that Care card drive. I hope that some of you are able to send cards for the elderly for the holidays! They would be so appreciated. (We already have received some. Thank you!) So to see the prizes, go HERE. Here is a list of the prize donations so far…

Thank you to all these great companies!

See you soon…

Shimmery Holiday Card

Hey there.

Just popping in for a quick share. Lots of shimmer on this bad boy…

The tree is white heat embossed on watercolor paper. Then I put on lots of Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress Ink… and even more water with Perfect Pearl. After it dried, I stamped some snowflakes…

Love me some shimmer. Oh, and a plain white background embossed with an embossing folder. The greeting is stamped with Staz-On on vellum and adhered with Glossy Accents behind the letters.

And the rounded corners on this card reminded me of something I have been meaning to share…

Did you know there is a Corner Chomper with two smaller rounded corner options? THIS is the original (a must-have)… and THIS is the new one with the smaller options (another must-have)…

Just had to enable share. :)

Happy Monday!

New BasicGrey + Hero Arts

I love new stamps. And matching papers and goodies.

So I thought I would mention that the newest BasicGrey lines called Little Black Dress and Picadilly are now in stores! You can see them HERE, along with the new Hero Arts stamps that match.

For the Hero Arts blog, I took the Picadilly line (which is my favorite BG line ever – so cheery and fun) and turned it into a holiday cards. I love challenges…

By the way – the trees were cut with THESE dies and stamped with THIS stamp. Fun fun fun.

(For complete instructions on this card, click HERE.)

Winners! I forgot to mention winners. The winner of the Tim Holtz dies is Angie in Utah. And the three lucky winners of the Holiday Card Boot Camp class are Carol Barol, Margareta Carlsoon and Kristi Ferrand. Yay!

Reminder: True Scrap is only days away…

Just a little reminder that The Spawn of True Scrap is coming up in a couple days. My class is Thursday afternoon, but you can go back and watch it anytime. Here is some more info…

This will be great a great event – 17 teachers in one weekend – and you can go back and watch anytime. I will have a 45 minute video to share as part of my Super Stamping Secrets II class – all new stuff – scrapbooking, cards and even jewelry. Here is a peek at my projects…

And I have a fun bonus for you if you sign up for The Spawn of True Scrap via THIS link. Just email me a copy of your receipt showing you signed up via THIS affiliate link. I will then add your name to a list to receive a link to an additional private stamping how-to video class in November after the The Spawn of True Scrap event. Just a fun perk and “thank you.” (Please note: You must sign up through THIS link. Also, the bonus private video link will be sent to you once the event is over. Once you purchase through this link, please email  me your receipt so I can add you to the list!)

Enjoy.
