Jane’s Doodles Blog Hop

Today I am part of the Jane’s Doodles blog hop for a friend of mine, Jane Beljo. She is the talented gal I order handmade buttons from and she also designs some adorable stamps.

Here is a card I did with her new Noah’s Ark stamp. I added a computer-generated greeting – seemed fitting for a friend who is going through some rough waters…

I colored it with Copics and then stamped over it with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and the Hero Arts Envelope Pattern. This bit of stamping adds the look of fun texture to the colored piece. And I finished it off with Black Enamel Accents on the eyes and Rock Candy Distress Stickles on the clouds…

I also created a simple card with the Garden Friends set…

I stamped over these pieces, too, as I did above. And the background? I layered two images: the flowers with Soft Green Shadow Ink and the text with Grass Chalk Ink. A great way to get a new look. (Products are linked below.)

Be sure to check out the rest of the blog hop. It starts at Jane’s HERE. If you are already hopping, the next stop is at Judith’s HERE. There are prizes in the hop!

Enjoy.

animals to give them texture was such a great idea!
Thanks for that tip! I have to use that next time when
    I am making a card. I don’t post much but I subscribe
to your blog. I have purchased 3 copic markers. Close together
in colors so as to blend well together. I love them! I will
Be adding to my copics a little at a time. Thanks for
sharing all the beautiful cards and your artistic talents
    On your blog. :)

Finished the blog hop and realized the completely different sentiment that you used for the Noah’s Ark stamp. I really like seeing how wide a variety there is for one stamp. Thank you for showing how to think outside the box!, or ark!
