A challenge, a poll and a giveaway week – oh my!

Hello, fellow paper addicts.

A few things today. Call me chatty. :)

First, I am guesting over on the Scrapbook Challenges site. This site looks fabulous, with sketches and such, so I was happy to play along. (The industry needs places like this for us to be happy, right? Gotta support them!)

So, here is my layout, along with their sketch…

090510 Talk JenMcGuire
Supplies: Lots and lots and lots of Basic Grey; Tim Holtz Scallop Die; White Enamel Accents from Ranger; More Basic Grey.

This is the great sketch. I turned mine and played with it a bit. But love love love this sketch…

And a close up…

See those little white dots? Did that using the White Enamel Accents from Ranger. You will be seeing more of these. SO much better than a white pen and adds some dimension…

So, you know I love the Basic Grey 6×6 paper pads. I find the smaller scale of these papers so easy to work with – on cards AND scrapbook pages, such as the one above.

And I am now having a love affair with the scallop die from Tim Holtz. I wasn't sure if this die and I would hit it off. I am more of a perfectly-even-scallop girl, so the uneven scallop threw me for a loop. But then I used it. And fell in love. You will be seeing it a LOT here. (You can buy it HERE.)THALTERATIONSSCALLOPS656627 And, it turns out that the fabulous folks at Simon Says Stamps sent me an extra of this great die, so I thought I would give one away here. Just leave a comment here by Wednesday night for your chance to win.

Oh, and I have a table full of giveaways. So I will be doing more this week. Just paying it forward.

Finally! A poll. Planning some big classes and wondered with you all would vote for. Thanks for your help!

What you’ve done with the sketch is nothing short of amazing! I’ve been desiring that TH edge die. Now, it’s a must have. BTW – love your LO using Claudine’s sticky back canvas. I linked it to the boards in her class at BPS so other classmates can see more ways to use the SBC. You couldn’t have been more timely :)
