Day 3 of fun challenge…

Happy Thursday. I wanted to give a quick thank you for all you fabulous crafters who participated in the Lawn Fawn Cards for Kids Blog Hop yesterday. What amazing cards! THANK YOU so much. If you missed it, click HERE to start. It is well worth the hop.

Today is Day 3 of my fun challenge with Joy, and we will both be using the fun Cupcakes set from Hero Arts.

I have used this set a TON, so I decided to change it up a bit. I stamped just the top of a cupcake and then drew a ice cream cone under it instead. I colored it with Copics and added Rock Candy Stickles to the ice cream and Glossy Accents to the cheery and patterned paper dots. Looks cool in real life.

BTW… these papers are from Studio Calico. I love their products and it turns out they work well for cards, too…

Supplies: Hero Arts (ice cream and cherry); A Muse greeting stamp; Studio Calico ledger and green papers; Doodlebug red paper; Rock Candy Stickles; Glossy Accents; Copics; sewing machine

So THIS is the set Joy and I both used…

I am totally addicted to Rock Candy Distress Stickles (HERE) these days. It goes on wet, but dries matte – leaving just what looks like tiny specks of glass. A must have for any crafter…

And I also use my Glossy Accents (HERE) a lot for adding shine to finished projects. See the white dots on the green strip up there? I put a drop of Glossy Accents on each and it looks so fun. I also use Glossy Accents behind EVERY embellishment I add to a card that goes through the mail. Every one, every time…

Love the Studio Calico papers I used. Can't wait to order this next set from them HERE
