Day 6 of our fun challenge…

Hello!

Sorry for the delay in posting this today. Very under the weather and my bum hasn’t left the sofa since I got back from church this morning. What a bummer of a way to spend a beautiful Sunday.

But! I wanted to pop in to post the 6th day of my fun using-the-same-stamp challenge with Joy. Today, we both used the Garden Bouquet from Hero Arts.

To create this mini card, I stamped the flowers with a light ink (Antique Linen Distress Ink) and then colored over it with Copics. I then stamped the text background with the same light ink and distressed with Vintage Photo. Easy.

Supplies: Hero Arts flower, text background, greeting and card; Copic Markers; Distress Inks

HERE is a peek at the stamp we used…

See you tomorrow!

So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Rest up and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. This card is gorgeous. Thanks for explaining how you colored it. I first looked at it and could not figure out how you were able to color it. Your copic skills are amazing. The flowers are very realistic looking.

Oh my goodness, my jaw just dropped when I read that you stamped the image with Distress ink and then colored the image. Why didn’t I think of that?! The result is gorgeous and I can’t wait to give it a try with this stamp and my colored pencils.

    Hope you feel better soon!
