Hello!
Sorry for the delay in posting this today. Very under the weather and my bum hasn’t left the sofa since I got back from church this morning. What a bummer of a way to spend a beautiful Sunday.
But! I wanted to pop in to post the 6th day of my fun using-the-same-stamp challenge with Joy. Today, we both used the Garden Bouquet from Hero Arts.
To create this mini card, I stamped the flowers with a light ink (Antique Linen Distress Ink) and then colored over it with Copics. I then stamped the text background with the same light ink and distressed with Vintage Photo. Easy.
Supplies: Hero Arts flower, text background, greeting and card; Copic Markers; Distress Inks
HERE is a peek at the stamp we used…
You can see Joy’s gorgeous creation with this stamp HERE.
See you tomorrow!

this is just GORGEOUS!!!! I had never seen that technique before of coloring over a light colored ink, I am gonna have to try that! it looks awesome!
Beautiful card! Wishing you well…fast!
So sorry you’re feeling icky. I love your card and just last week bought that very stamp and then discovered it was bigger than all my acryilic blocks! Oops. As soon as I get a bigger block, you can be sure I’ll be trying it out.
Hope you feel better soon. One question – did you really stamp the background AFTER the flowers or the other way around?
Very pretty! Fell better soon!
good choice for image. I will have to check my local store for it. Your coloring is the best. stamping sue

Jennifer,
Sure hope you are feeling MUCH better today. Always enjoy checking your site daily to see what super card you have for me to enjoy. I especially appreciate your information on ‘how’ you created the card…many sites give info on products used, but don’t present clear explanations of how the card was created. You always do, and that’s a big help to novice cardmakers. Thanks for all your wonderful creativity, and the family tidbits.
What a lovely card. I hope you’re feeling better soon.
Another gorgeous card!!

Sorry you’re feeling bad – praying you feel better soon.
Seeing the cards that you and Joy have created this week is as good as attending a class. Thanks! You and Joy are so talented and it’s been fun!!!!Hope you’re feeling better!!!
Beautiful card. It has been such fun seeing the differences in how the two of you use the same stamps. You both do fabulous work.
Beautiful!!! Did you color on the individual flowers with a marker before stamping it? I’m a total beginner to this.
So sorry to hear you are really not feeling good! Blech! Hope you are better soon…Is it the weather? It is supposed to get almost 100 degrees here tomorrow and will reduce drastically to the 70′s again in a few days…such dangerous heat for everyone! Hugs to you!
You always come up with such awesome ideas!
I was wondering, how did you color the flowers in…
So simple, yet beautiful card!
Thank you for another beautiful card.Hope you feel better soon.
You are my inspiration

The card is stunning, Jennifer! I love your technique of stamping in a light color and then going over the image with Copics; super clever!
This is so very pretty! Love the twine bow and the soft background!
Love this too!
Beautiful card…always love your art. Will use it as a starting point, trying to get motivated to be creative.
Jennifer,
You are so wonderfully creative! I am a bit jealous of all the “toys” you get to play with!!!
Thanks for making the giveaways possible!
Just will have to look for the new Ranger products! And of course all the products you share with us!
Have a blessed day,
Terri
HI there. I was searching for an idea of a card on your site today and found this one. It is so pretty. I have a handful of copics and was wondering if you know the colors you used? You make it look so easy to pick combinations! It isn’t easy for me…I am still learning, but I love the work you do with copics! Thank you for the beautiful ideas!
Stacey
Just love this card and the colouring method must try it..
